He added, " These ongoing conversation have given us an opportunity to orchestrate a seamless and productive way for me to leave the show. I would like to express the gratitude and admiration I have had working with Dick Wolf and Peter JanKwoski." He concluded by saying, "I'm extremely proud of the work we have done together and put the development of this show, and my character Jess at the top of my professional experience list. I wish the show, and its cast & crew, the greatest success in the future. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play Jess; he is a good man." Some of the other roles, McMahon has been known for is Jonah in Marvel's 'Runways' and Doctor Doom in the 'Fantastic Four' franchise. On the show,  LaCroix is still dealing with the emotional effects of his daughter Tali leaving for boarding school in Canada, so it is unclear how McMahon's character will be written off.

Another fan was shocked to hear the news and tweeted,"What?! Julian McMahon is leaving Most Wanted?! Why?!. Other tweet read,"Aww man. Cant believe that julian mcmahon who plays jess lacroix in FBI most wanted is leaving after three seasons. First Nathaniel Arcand leaves and then Kellan Lutz and now Julian is leaving....."
