Jackie Goldschneider opens up about battling eating disorder, 'RHONJ' fans laud her bravery
The ladies on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' are really committed to showcasing their unfiltered life to the world, which explains why Jackie Goldschneider finally mustered the courage to admit that she not only has an eating disorder but also her constant battle with it. Even though the housewife hinted at her tryst with food in the past and her fear of gaining weight, the housewife led everyone to believe that she had her issues under control, until the recently aired episode where she admitted that she was not only still struggling with her disorder but also was ready to seek the help she needed.
Jackie sat down with her husband Evan Goldschneider and recounted how once she fainted while she was out with him. She then confessed that she hadn't eaten that whole day which was why she fainted. The housewife then revealed that she was afraid of relapsing and explained how she was scared of eating food because she didn't want to gain weight, and this left her feeling hungry and tired all the time. Evan shocked Jackie when he told her that their kids began noticing her struggle with eating and reportedly asked him why she ate so little or eats the same thing every night. When Jackie realized that her kids were observing her eating behavior, the housewife broke down and began feeling guilty for giving her kids the impression that her behavior was acceptable.
