'RHONJ': Did Joe Benigno confirm Evan Goldschneider's cheating rumors? Fans feel Teresa wasn't making them up

'RHONJ' fans believe that Joe Benigno just vindicated Teresa Giudice of spreading rumors about Evan Giudice cheating on his wife

The husbands of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' ladies can easily give their wives a run for their money when it comes to giving us some quality entertainment and unfiltered drama. Season 11 of 'RHONJ' kicked off with Teresa Giudice dropping an explosive bomb about her fellow housewife Jackie Goldschneider's marriage. The OG housewife went around telling everybody that Jackie's husband, Evan Goldschneider, was cheating on his wife with women from his gym.

Teresa claimed that she heard the rumor from a source whose name she initially refused to believe, but later changed her story to claim that she forgot who she heard it from. Teresa made things worse by spreading this rumor at Evan's birthday party. So, when the other ladies heard about Evan's rumored infidelity, they were obviously less than thrilled about Teresa's super flawed timing of revealing this bombshell. Teresa turned to Margaret Josephs, who is not only a close friend of Jackie but also lived in the same neighborhood where Evan's gym was located, to check if she came across those rumors too.

When Margaret heard the rumor from Teresa, she reacted in a very shocked and surprised manner. The housewife claimed that she never heard of those rumors, and questioned Teresa's sources. In her green room interview, Margaret explained that she never heard of those rumors, and didn't know who was filling Teresa's ears with such gossip. She also slammed her fellow housewife for spreading the rumor at Evan's party, in front of the Goldschneiders' friends. 

After watching the recently aired episode of 'RHONJ' it looks like Margaret was already aware of these rumors, and just pretended to never have heard them. Margaret's husband, Joe Benigno spilled the tea on Evan and the rumors during a poker night with his fellow husbands. Dolores Catania's ex-husband, Frank Catania was curious to know more about the rumors surrounding Evan and questioned the men if they had ever heard it before. Joe then came forward and admitted that he had heard them before at his home. He explained how at any given point there were always at least 10 women at the house he shared with his wife, Margaret, while pointing out how those women never spoke softly.

Joe explained that he overheard those women discussing Evan's infidelity rumors. The husbands were shocked to learn this but still had a hard time wrapping their heads around Evan possibly cheating on Jackie. Joe tried doing some damage control by declaring that he 99% didn't believe that Evan would cheat on his wife although he left a window of 1% saying how one can never be too sure about anything. 

Although Joe tried his best to cover up his slip-up, fans caught it and began wondering if there was any truth to Evan's infidelity rumors considering other women were openly discussing it, and Joe too seemed to have been aware of it. A fan tweeted, "Interesting so Joe #2 is questioning Evan as well..... #RHONJ." Another fan wrote, "Joe Benigno is saying he also heard this Evan cheating rumor... hmmm #rhonj." "Wait not only did joe hear ab the rumor but you can tell he lowkey believes it #RHONJ," commented a fan. Another fan shared, "OMFG NOT JOE CONFIRMING THE EVAN CHEATING RUMORS #RHONJ."

After hearing Joe confirm the rumors doing the rounds about Evan's cheating, fans pointed out how it meant that Teresa wasn't just making them up. A fan expressed, "So Joe B and Margaret heard the rumour about Evan too? I thought y’all said Teresa made it up? QUEEN TERESA VINDICATED YUP YUP #RHONJ." "Now that Joe has confirmed the rumor...we know Teresa wasn't lying...where there is smoke... #rhonj," declared a fan. "I wonder where the outrage is about Joe speaking of the cheating rumors.I guess this proves Teresa didn’t pull it out of her a**. #RHONJ," seconded a fan.
