Is Sutton Stracke single? 'RHOBH' star shares exciting update on dating life after firing her matchmaker
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Garcelle Beauvais staged a casual intervention for her closest friend, Sutton Stracke, in Season 13, Episode 3 of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', due to worries about her dating life. The owner of Sutton Concept Boutique is now sharing her present dating status, as well as her plans for Valentine's Day.
Garcelle was first concerned about Sutton's struggle to get asked out on a second date by any of the men she met. Later in the season, to strengthen her romance, Sutton hired a dating coach, who finally helped her have a follow-up date with a possible bachelor.
Now, during a quick interview with BravoTV.com prior to the 'RHOBH' Season 13 Reunion, Sutton discussed the most recent developments in her romantic life.
"I am still single and just working," she stated.
Later, in a February 7 interview on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen', Sutton said that she no longer works with the matchmaker but is active on dating apps.
When asked if she had any plans for Valentine's Day, Sutton told BravoTV.com that she "hate[s]" the occasion. To make matters worse, she doesn't have someone to hang out with on February 14 because her pal is going to be busy.
'RHOBH's Sutton Stracke spotted out on a date with friend Sanjit Das
From kitten sweaters to "dawgs," Sutton and her close buddy Sanjit Das have shared many bonding experiences. 'RHOBH' viewers may recall Sanjit as the handsome gentleman with whom Sutton went on a date in Season 12.
There was a kitty sweater and discussion of itching feet, but there was no significant love connection. However, the boutique owner has maintained a strong relationship with the attorney, and she shared an update on how they spend their time together.
Sutton posted an Instagram snapshot of herself and Sanjit sitting at a sports bar on December 2. While college football played on the TV above them, the pals took a picture.
She added that she was on her "umpteenth date" with the "sweet" Sanjit, and she reminded fans of her Georgia background by posting a hashtag that read "Southern girl in LA."
Why did 'RHOBH's Sutton Stracke get divorced?
With the divorce proceedings finalized, Sutton has become more open about what transpired in her marriage. She stated that she and Christian Stracke began their marriage on equal footing, but the dynamic shifted as Christian's career increased.
Christian joined Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) in 2008 and advanced fast through the ranks. He presently serves as PIMCO's president, managing director, and head of global credit research.
Christian's fortune grew rapidly, while Sutton focused on raising their children. The couple's relationship deteriorated, and Sutton became fully reliant on him.
The control, along with arguments and other concerns, eventually led to their divorce.
Sutton's marriage to Christian went from a partnership to one in which he dominated her finances. Sutton has regained significant financial independence after the couple's divorce, both in terms of her personal riches and the alimony she will get from her husband.
She is due to earn $300,000 from Christian every month for the rest of her life. This is in addition to the $50,000 she receives each month in child support.
'RHOBH's Sutton Stracke has 'crush' on 'Below Deck's Captain Jason Chambers
In other handsome-man news, Sutton admitted to having a slight "crush" on Captain Jason Chambers, the most eligible bachelor at BravoCon 2023.
Sutton chatted with Reality Blurb! about her encounter with the 'Below Deck Down Under' boss at Bravo's big event.
"I ran into [Jason], and I introduced myself to him, and I said, ‘I got to tell you. I don’t want to embarrass you, but I have mentioned to several people that I have a little bit of a crush on you, but it’s okay. Don’t be afraid."
So, what happened next? "He was really nice,” Sutton expressed. “He’s a good-looking man."
