LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Peacock's sizzling new show 'Couple to Throuple' is set to air on Thursday, February 8, 2024. For many, monogamy is the only way for romance but for some, the idea of having a third person in the relationship is exciting.
The 10-episode series will roll out in weekly batches of three and the season finale will be streamed separately.
Peacock's show highlights this unconventional dating approach where three people are involved in the relationship rather than two. The concept of polyamory, which is having multiple romance partners at the same time, is explored in the dating show.
In the series, there will be four couples who will be intrigued by polyamory and want to try it out to see if it could be a healthy reality. The couples will be taken to a beautiful tropical resort where they will find fun open-minded singles. The singles will try to date the couples and check compatibility. In the end, the couples will decide if their heart has room for another single and commit as a throuple. They also might go home as they arrived as a couple or go in separate ways.
'Couple to Throuple' is hosted by Emmy-nominated journalist Scott Evans and the contestants will be guided by sex and relationship expert Shamyra Howard who will help the couples. The explosive trailer states there will be many twists, turns, drama, outbursts, and fights. For some people, this will be the start of a new chapter in their life while for others it might be the end of their relationship.
Who stars in Peacock's 'Couple to Throuple'?
The couples in the show are Ashmal Ali and Rehman Bhatti, Brittane Babe and Sean Willaims, Correy Potter, and Wilder Bunke, and Lauren Bair and Dylan Bair.
Ashmal Ali and Rehman Bhatti
Ashmal Ali, a 27-year-old Chicago-based attorney, and partner Rehman Bhatti, a 31-year-old Detroit resident, are the only same-sex relationship in the show. Ashmal Ali is a Michigan State University law grad and he works in family law for Chicago Gaynor Law. He has more than seven years of legal experience.
He previously worked as a Chicago-based associate attorney for an insurance defense firm.
Ashmal likes to travel, perform stand-up comedy, and hogs on the southern barbecue. Rehman Bhatti works in Public Relations and loves living his life to the fullest. He loves attending concerts and parties with his friends.
Brittane Babe and Sean Williams
Brittane Babe, 28, and Sean Willaims, 30 hail from Los Angeles, California.
Brittane is a personal celebrity trainer and has high-profile clients such as Jada Pinkett Smith and her family. She is also the founder of Babe Fitness and created an app called BrittCamp where she fitness programs for people who want to get fit from the comfort of their homes.
Sean Williams is a music producer and he has even worked with Skrillex and Diplo. It will be the first time for the couple to experiment with a throuple in the show.
Corey Potter and Wilder Bunke
Correy Potter, a 29-year-old from Massachusetts, and Wilder Bunke, a 30-year-old from Los Angeles, are ready to be a part of 'Couple to Throuple'. Correy Potter's Instagram bio states that she is a set designer and editor who likes music festivals and funky clothes.
Wilder Bunke, on the other hand, is a California-based photographer. Wilder has also photographed for music concerts such as Post Malone.
Lauren Bair and Dylan Bair
Lauren Bair, 29, and Dyan Bair, 32 are the married couple of 'Couple to Throuple'. On January 13, 2024 the pair announced that they were going to be parents in July. The couple runs an apparel business offering Psychic readings by Lauren and it is called Manifested.
Before Manifested which was created in 2022, Dylan created Bair Aesthetics. Dylan is a registered dietician who met registered nurse Lauren through his company and the two started their journey in 2013 as they both had a passion for bodybuilding.
