LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Erika Jayne from 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' taped rehearsals for her Vegas residency, but viewers had mixed opinions about the documentary special. As Bravo announced the new two-hour documentary series 'Erika Jayne: Bet It All On Blonde', which will premiere on March 6, followers turned to social media to criticize the network, asking that all earnings benefit Erika's victims.

Erika from 'RHOBH' returned to performing when she was granted a Vegas residency at the House of Blues, located within the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Her preparations for the show will now be seen by viewers.

Erika is still dealing with her ex-husband Tom Girardi's continuing legal issues as she prepares for her six-week residency in Las Vegas. Regardless of her personal troubles, the 'RHOBH' diva must put together a new show and ensure it is ready for opening night.

When the preview for Erika's new documentary was revealed on Bravo's official Instagram page, many 'RHOBH' fans had negative comments. One user commented, "I’d rather watch a documentary that breaks down how she is paying for her lifestyle…"

Some asked Bravo, "Why are you giving this woman the extra income and the time of day???? Is the proceeds going to the victims????…….. now that’s a laugh. I hope NO ONE watches."

One user also chimed in, "Outside of Mikey and EJ Global, NOT A SINGLE SOUL NEEDS THIS."

A fourth user wrote, "Hard pass. She still fails in taking any accountability or remorse for spending the money that belonged to others."

One fan demanded, "For every documentary on Erika, I want Bravo to air a 1:1 doc on one of the victims deceived, cheated etc. What’s THEIR story? How do they pay their bills and survive day to day w/o the money that was owed them? Who is their Mikey/network that helps prop them up and champion them each day? What are the dreams they have? Let’s humanize them for a minute and get back to actual REAL stories. As far as I can tell, no one wants to amplify their story and IMO theirs is the only one that matters moving forward here."

"Nobody wants this.... Nobody likes her," wrote another.

Since Tom's legal difficulties became public, 'RHOBH' viewers have been harsh on Erika, believing that she is to blame for what her husband did. Fans found it difficult to see her flaunt her luxury lifestyle on the show, knowing that it was supposedly funded with the victims' money.

What is 'Erika Jayne: Bet It All On Blonde' all about?

According to the special's logline, the offshoot of 'RHOBH' will use "a compilation of formal interviews and observational footage" to record cast member Erika as she prepares for her Las Vegas residency, which fans saw her score on the show's current 13th season. The special follows Erika's "frenzied six-week run-up to opening night" at the House of Blues on August 25, 2023, as she prepares her songs, clothing, and choreography while dealing with the "realities of budget constraints and a ticking clock."

'Bet It All on Blonde' was first announced at BravoCon in early November, and the Vegas residency marks Erika's return, as the special revolves around her legal and financial problems following the downfall of her estranged husband, Tom, the disgraced former attorney who is now 84. In December 2020, various lawsuits revealed that Tom, previously regarded as a crusading lawyer who always stood up for the underdog, had purportedly stolen millions of dollars from his clients.

Tom's difficulties worsened from there. He was disbarred in 2022, and he will stand trial in May on federal wire fraud charges connected to his alleged misappropriation of settlement funds.

Erika split from him in the fall of 2020, but the stench of his alleged crimes was difficult for her to overcome.

In the 'Bet It All on Blonde' teaser, Erika comments, "Tom's behavior was bad for three years—the shit this man did, the fallout is great." She later asks a producer how Tom's competency hearing went—he was eventually found fit to stand trial—and replies, "I would be a liar if I said it was 100% out of my mind."

As Erika continues to practice for her performance, tensions grow between her and her longtime creative director, Mikey Minden. "No one was killing it, including you," he replies sternly.
