PANAMA ISLAND, PANAMA: The first same-sex pair on 'Perfect Match' ended quickly when Francesca Farago shared a hot kiss in the pool with Kariselle Snow despite being matched with Abbey Humphreys at the time. Viewers took to social media to call out Francesca and accused of her using the bisexuality card merely for attention.

The 'Perfect Match' game centers on heterosexual partners. That was until one same-sex pair altered everything. Unfortunately, Francesca and Abbey split up soon on the Netflix show. Fans were let down by one of the quickest representations of bisexuality on reality television and not in a positive way.

Abbey asks 'What was the motivation there?' as Francesca kisses Kariselle

It didn't take long for the show's only same-sex pair to split up. Episode 9 began with Francesca and Abbey having fun at the villa after they paired in the previous episode. A few people stripped naked and ran into the water. Rather, Abbey swam in her swimsuit. Francesca started getting jealous of Damian Powers and Ines Tazi. Rather than engaging with Abbey, she kissed Kariselle Snow.

Abbey was distressed when she noticed this. "I’m more confused because, like, what’s the reason? Why?" she told the camera. "What was the motivation there? While we’re figuring things out, figuring out what we are to each other," she said.

The next day, the pair addressed the incident. Abbey claimed that she found Francesca kissing Kariselle offensive and interpreted it negatively. Francesca insisted that there was no romantic undertone to it. They made the decision to part ways. Francesca went back to Damian. Abbey and Bartise Bowden coupled up.

'Francesca is not even a real bisexual'

Accusing Francesca of queerbaiting, a social media viewer tweeted, "Me today when I watch Perfect Match and my prediction turned out to be right: Francine just queer baiting the audience, matching with a bisexual girl just to hornify Damien and make him jealous just to break bisexy girls heart and match with him in the end."

Slamming the platform for such representation, a fan wrote, "The way Netflix is portraying bisexual women on #PerfectMatch is so cringe." Agreeing with Abbey, another person wrote, "I don’t rate abbey but she ate because why is Francesca making out with her friend Kariselle-who’s also bisexual- in front of the girl she’s “seeing” it’s very unserious and I hate girls like this, so goofy."

Further accusing Francesca of being an attention seeker, a fan wrote, "I’m calling bs Francesca isn’t bisexual she’s an absolute starved for attention female lol."

One fan also noted, "Francesca is not even a real bisexual. She just pretends to be bisexual and makes out with women to turn the little boys around her on. She doesn’t deserve to find her #PerfectMatch."

Expressing annoyance at the portrayal of bisexuality on reality TV, a fan wrote, "Is it just me that is annoyed with the way bisexual people are portrayed in this show… Francesca used abbey to appeal to the other men. And the guys just love to entertain women x women relationships like it’s for them."

One viewer wrote, "The boys only support the girls being bisexual because they love watching girls makeout like don't act like it's a real supportive thing, you know Joey would be more mad if Kariselle turned around and said she's done with him and wanted to be with Francesca."

Seeing other cast members' reactions also irked fans as one person said, "Damian talks a lot about how Francesca being bisexual and 3 sums and its kinda creepy."
