VIPs find more and more references to Seungri in the boy group's latest comeback after a four-year hiatus

BIGBANG is back and how! The four remaining members of the second-gen monster group finally made a comeback after four long years of hiatus and fans who had been waiting for new music from the group are finally at rest. BIGBANG released ‘Still Life’ at 12 am KST (11 am ET) and VIPs (Fans of BIGBANG) from all over the world started talking about the new single. From leader GDragon’s fabulous hair-do to T.O.P’s painful facial expression as well as Daesung’s bittersweet farewell to his good old days and Taeyang’s enchanting vocals, all four members had fans thrilled as they thanked the members for finally giving them a comeback.

The song, just like anyone would have guessed, has become an overnight success as the single ‘Still Life’ tops iTunes Top Songs charts in 33 regions while also topping real-time charts on major music streaming sites in Korea, China, and Japan through Melon, QQ Music, as well as Line Music. All thanks to their ever-green popularity, even a four-year hiatus hasn't broken what BIGBANG had achieved over the years and despite his controversial exit from the boy group, former member Seungri is still being remembered by fans devotedly.

Seungri left BIGBANG as well as the entertainment industry back in 2019 but dedicated fans still hope that once he is free, the singer will make a comeback with the boy group. Despite the fact that members of BIGBANG have made it clear that they are far too old to be K-pop idols anymore, fans hope that one day in the future, Seungri will be allowed to join the boys again. Now with the release of ‘Still Life’, VIPs have more reasons to believe that all four members still miss him and wonder if maybe BIGBANG has dedicated their comeback to him. 

'Four chairs but still five lines in the end'

One fan tweeted, “Bigbang is still as amazing as ever. Idk if anyone noticed but GD held a black umbrella with a rainbow underneath and I remember Seungri’s story about GD painting him with multiple colors but suddenly covering it with black paint. The umbrella was Seungri, Huhu.” Another fan said, “BIGBANG never disappoints. Beautiful song. I love the tribute to Seungri. Zero scenes of them together: it signifies how they’re not complete when one member is not there. You can clearly tell his falsetto voice was missing. This song was clearly made a long time ago.” One fan pointed out, “Four seats but still 5 lines in the end. STILL LIFE IS HERE.”

One VIP remarked, “This scene is for Seungri!!! Four chairs for Taeyang, Daesung, TOP, and Seungri. The Director chair is for G-Dragon himself. BIGBANG IS FIVE.” One fan said, “For Our Seungri.” Another tweet read, “Yall dont have to hurt me like this. that "for you" is for seungri i can feel it.” One hopeful fan said, “You can definitely hear the void for Seungri's voice. They will wait for you Seungri! So fight and be healthy.” Another added, “They show that they love Seungri so much #BIGBANG_StillLife.”
