So, the cat’s out of the bag and people are starting to know how Anna scammed them. She was not exactly a fraudster, she played with people’s emotions, posed like she was rich, and had the confidence to take everyone in her pocket. However, what she didn’t know was that the dream she had about starting a foundation was going out of her hand because of her ways.

The first six episodes gave us an idea of how she did not only scam big firms, lawyers, and financial institutions, but she also scammed her friends as well. Rachel Williams (Katie Lowes), who worked at Vanity Fair, had to use her work credit to pay the bills of a vacation to Morocco. Anna told her that she would pay as soon as the bank issue is solved. Rachel has reached her workplace and is wondering when she is going to receive her money. She is not able to focus on her work and constantly messages and calls Anna to know about the transfer.

Rachel is clearly freaking out that Anna (Julia Garner) keeps on telling her that she’ll get her money, but every time she messages, Anna just replies by saying that she’s sending the wire now. Bur Vivian’s (Anna Chlumsky) story gets a massive setback when she finds out that Rachel’s story is in Vanity Fair now. However, the good thing is that she has written it herself. So, she didn’t know about the other things Anna did. The editors allow her to go with the story.

Meanwhile, Vivian get to know that there was an intervention. Vivian meets Kacy and she tells everything about it. On that day, Kacy called Anna and said that she and her friend Nicole want to meet. But Anna didn’t know that Rachel was there as well. The intervention takes a bizarre turn when Anna refuses to pay her and says that they all are basic. Nicole gets frustrated and tells Anna that there are millions of girls like her in the world and she’s not special. Rachel is sobbing and saying that she needs her money or her entire life will be screwed. On the other hand, Kacy says that they want to help her. Anna leaves the table and goes to the bathroom, but she runs away from the restaurant and Rachel gets really upset. She tells Vivian that she didn’t know about many things and just got to see her article.

Kacy also says that she doesn’t want to be on the record, which makes Vivian really annoyed. The story is almost done and the editors feel that it’s amazing, but the Legal team says that they would need to get a yes from Kacy if they want to include her name. Vivian, who is pregnant, calls her in labor pain and tells Kacy that her name won’t be used but she definitely needs her quotes. She approves it and they are set to go with the story.

Meanwhile, Anna is late for her trial and is still doing something with thousands of dollars.

‘Inventing Anna’ is currently streaming on Netflix.
