Netflix 'Inventing Anna': 5 things you didn't know about Anna Chlumsky
Netflix seems to be going all-out on expanding its true-crime category. Kickstarting the year with the hit documentary 'The Tinder Swindler,' the streaming giant is now gearing up to release 'Inventing Anna.' The series is based on an article written by Jessica Pressler that shed light on how conwoman Anna Sorokin aka Anna Delvey swindled the New York City elite while posing to be a wealthy German heiress.
With 'Ozark' star Julia Garner playing lead, 'Inventing Anna' will be a deep dive into the crimes committed and cons pulled by Anna Sorokin. Sorokin was reportedly paid a whopping $320,000 by Netflix for adapting her life story into a series. Produced and written by Shonda Rimes, it looks like Netflix has another hit on the way.
