However, she doesn’t agree with having an interview. While going deeper, Vivian finds that Anna has an Instagram account and there are people who became friends with her. As soon as she interviews them, she gets to know what kind of a person Anna actually was.
First, she meets a wealthy socialite Nora Radford (Kate Burton) who met Anna and got to know that her family was big in antiques and hailed from Germany. The lady also told Vivian that Anna’s family had a trust fund as well. The journalist also met Kacy Duke (Laverne Cox), who was seen with Anna in several photos, and she told her that Anna’s father was really rich. He was a solar magnate and knew a lot of important people.
Meanwhile, the owner of a big art academy said that Anna and her family had an impressionist painting that was supposed to be sold for about 42 million when Anna turned 25. She also said that it was real because she saw the painting. Every person had a different story about her and Vivian was intrigued. Anna was simply more than just a normal-looking young girl and getting famous was one of her motives. So, when Vivian finds out that Anna might be taking a plea deal. She meets her and tells her that if she takes a plea deal, everyone is going to call her dumb and a wannabe socialite. If she doesn’t, Vivian will give her what she wants. She entices her and puts her in a dilemma.
During the hearing, the prosecutors revealed that they have made a plea deal and when the judge asks Anna’s attorney for his client’s decision, Anna’s attorney says that she has agreed to accept the plea deal. But she stops him and says that she has changed her decision and will now want to have a trial. Anna tells her attorney that she doesn’t want to be called a “wannabe socialite.”
