'Invasion' Episode 10: Fans dub finale 'awesome', others call it 'the lamest'

The Apple TV+ series has been renewed for a second season which has some people thrilled while others question if it's really necessary

Apple TV+'s 'Invasion' finally aired its final episode of the season and sets up the series for more invading to happen, with a Season 2 announced just days before it ended. The science-fiction series tells the story of an alien invasion on earth through various viewpoints of characters scattered across the world.

Tokyo, Long Island, Afghanistan, and London were the locations from which we saw events unfold as aliens slowly caused mayhem, submerging the world into a chaotic mess. Read on to know what viewers had to say about 'Invasion' ending and their thoughts on the renewal of the series.

Apple TV's 'Invasion' has taken the slow-burn approach with its narrative which some have loved while others have not. From low-lighting that makes it hard to see what's happening, lack of aliens, too much family drama to confusing plot lines, viewers have had many complaints. While this opinion was shared for the first half of the alien show, episodes towards the end received more acceptance as they showcased more thrills and aliens that viewers enjoyed. 'Invasion' which saw its last episode saw fans divided over the season finale with the first half of the episode dragging on but amping up the thrills towards the end.

Commenting on the season finale some viewers said they really enjoyed it and that they were glad the series was renewed for a second season, while some of them didn't show the finale any love, calling it boring and saying the series didn't need a Season 2. Here are some of the things they said:

Another one of the tweets read, "Aye man @AppleTV that was the lamest season finale I've ever seen. Didn't answer shit. How you introduce a whole character and setting in ep 1 then never go back? #Invasion #InvasionAppleTV". A viewer said, "Soooo that last shot at the season finale for #InvasionAppleTV gave me goosebumps!! I did not expect that!!! Alright, now the waiting game for season 2. Glad it’s confirmed they got renewed". Another fan commented, "The season finale of #InvasionAppleTV was awesome! So great to see sci fi that’s focused more on characters than just lots of VFX! Glad it’s been renewed for season 2 on @AppleTV!".
