Sima Taparia
Sima Taparia hails from a wealthy business tycoon's family, who specializes in forming marriage alliances. Her clients are spread across the globe, from Mumbai, India to Texas, USA. In her introduction, Sima explains how she got into the matchmaking industry. She reveals that she got married at the young age of 19 to a wealthy businessman named Anup Taparia. Her marriage to Taparia introduced her to a bevy of high-profile families in India. Initially, she used to set up her wealthy friends just for fun and saw the relationships bloom. Soon she became so good at setting up people that her friends began encouraging her to take it up as a profession, and that's how Mrs Taparia took to matchmaking as her career.
Nadia Jagessar
This sweet-natured Ino-Guyanese event planner from Morristown, New Jersey, became a fan-favorite cast member of the Netflix show. Despite fans rooting for Nadia to find the man of her dreams, unfortunately, from getting stood-up to lack of chemistry, Nadia's journey to finding love was anything but easy. While Nadia is still seeing a match setup by Sima from Season 1, but she wishes he would make bolder moves to push their connection forward. So she decides to stay open and continue her search for love, both with and without the help of Sima.
Aparna Shewakramani
This attorney from Houston, managed to give Sima Aunty many a sleepless nights, thanks to her nit-picky nature. Though Aparna left season 1 of 'Indian Matchmaking' as single with a focus on her career, it looks like she is ready to give love a shot again. According to Netflix's press release, "Aparna (and her iconic side-eye) is also continuing on her quest for love, but she’s taking the search into her own hands this time around. She’s moved to New York City from her hometown of Houston and is dealing with the culture shock of navigating her new city." We can't wait to watch Aoarna's adventures on the show.
Pradhyuman Maloo
Just like Aparna, Mumbai-based jeweller Pradhyuman too gave Sima Aunty a hard time. After rejecting over 150 matches, Sima Aunty wroteoff pradhyuman as him not being ready for the big commitment just yet. But looks like Pradhyuman managed to find love on his own, as his new girlfriend Ashima will be making her big debut on the show. So get ready to watch Ashima learning the ropes of Pradhyuman's life and lifestyle on 'Indian Matchmaking'.
Akshay
No no, this isn't the infamous 'mama's boy' Akshya from season 1. The new Akshay is a 40-something eligible bachelor from Nashik. After having trouble finding suitable dates owing to him staying in a small agricultural town far from a big city, Akshay's family turned to Mumbai's best matchmaker for help. While Akshay is very much invested in his family business of poultry farming, we'll have to see if any of the women that Sima finds for him appeal to him.

Will viral be the new Aparna of 'Indian Matchmaking' Season 2? Well, based off the trailer, it seems like she's definitely going to keep Sima Aunty on her toes. In the show's trailer, Viral, a resident of Durham, North Carolina, can be heard describing herself as "ovo-lacto-semi-vegetarian". She is looking for her perfect match, who can help build a true partnership, and has a long list of criteria ready for Sima Aunty.
Arshneel
Arshneel is a charming, laid-back doctor who believes he’s put too much time into his career to find a life partner. Much like Sima, he also loves Taco Bell and really wants a dog.
Shital
Shital is nearing 40 and feeling intense pressure to settle. Her parents are in a successful arranged marriage, but Shital has high standards and doesn’t agree with Sima’s 60-70% compatibility philosophy.
Vinesh
Vinesh is an athletic dog lover who’s looking for someone with a similar lifestyle and can match his energy. His friends and family are jokesters, which has Sima wondering if he’ll be truly serious about finding a match.
