'Heal': The Rose returns with 1st studio album and world tour, fans say 'military era over'

Korean rock band The Rose went on a hiatus after 2019 for their mandatory military service

It has been a while since fans have seen the Korean rock band The Rose. While we did get Woosung touring in USA and attending events like the premiere of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, that was it from the band. Like all K-pop acts, the South Korean members of The Rose had to enlist for their mandatory military service which led to the band going on a hiatus in 2020. Well, with all the members finishing their service and getting discharged, we are finally getting a full-length studio album and a world tour.

It looks like The Rose missed their fans as much as fans missed them. The band not only announced their first studio album ‘Heal’ but at the same time also shared that they would be going on the world tour ‘Heal Together’. 2022 seems to be a good year for The Rose. The boys shared that they had won the lawsuit against their old label. To celebrate, they released the single ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Well, with all of the Korean members coming back from the military in 2022, we are getting a new start as they signed with Far East Movement’s new label Transparent Arts and Wasserman Music.

The Rose announce first studio album and world tour

While The Rose officially debuted in 2017, ‘Heal’ is their first full-length studio album. The band revealed that they wanted to share the healing power of music and that they were inspired by their fans. ‘Heal’ is their first comeback in almost 3 years following their 2019 release ‘Red’. It is also their first album under a new label. While they had shared they would be free agents, they decided to sign with Transparent Arts as they “respect our vision and we are excited to have their support as we grow further in our careers.”

While they are teasing their new album, we already have the dates for their world tour ‘Heal Together’. A whopping 33 stops have been announced all over North America, South America and Europe. The Rose will kick off in Chicago on October 13 and end the first half of their tour in Barcelona on February 19. The dates for the Asia stops will be announced soon. Tickets for ‘Heal Together’ will be released on August 12 local time.

‘Very sexy of them’

Fans are excited as they trended The Rose on Twitter. One fan tweeted, “oon, we'll be one of them, having the time of our lives as we sing our hearts out. The Rose, we'll meet you soon! Let's claim it :)).” Another shared, “The Rose concert en 2023, let’s goooooo.” One fan posted, “The Rose world tour is gonna be called "HEAL Together" Plz they're too precious. They're doing a word tour, visiting a lot of places, healing themselves, healing us, healing together.” Another commented, “The rose suing their company,  winning, and then proceeding to release a discord, a (very active) tiktok page, their own label and a world tour is very sexy of them.” One fan rejoiced, “MILITARY ERA IS OVER, THE ROSE IS BACK TOGETHER.”
