Shanel Bailey portrays Hazel, a brilliant black girl who recently transferred to Rydell and struggles to fit in, often acting as the voice of these issues. Bailey's character is set to be introduced in Episode 3 of the series. Bailey previously co-starred in an episode of 'The Equalizer' TV series alongside Queen Latifah.
