Meet gold hunters of 'Gold Rush: Parker's Trail' Season 6
Parker Schnabel: Parker is in the gold mining business since the age of five. He started working on his Grandpa John's Big Nugget Mine in Haines, Alaska. However, as soon as Parker turned 18, he left his house to start his new life in Klondike. The gold miner leased a ground from the legendary Tony Beets and mined a total of over $13 million worth of gold by the age of 24. Meanwhile, Parker used his college fund when his grandfather stepped down from the family business.
Parker entirely went a different way in his life and pulled his family business to totally new milestone. Parker has now become a successful gold miner and fans' favorite TV personality. His popularity peaked when Discovery+ launched, 'Gold Rush: Parker's Trail', focusing solely on his travel and mining.
Notably, Parker has taken the adventure from the historic Chilkoot Trail of the Klondike Gold Rush to Guyana and Papua New Guinea over the past three years. Now, Parker aims to expand his operation and mining business.
Parker was previously in a relationship with Ashley Youle but they parted ways after two years of dating. His social media handle suggests that he is currently single and focusing on the growth of his mining business.
Tyler Mahoney: Tyler is a fourth-generation successful prospector in Australia, whose family has been in the mining business for over a century. The reality star has been working on the family's gold shop and mining sites from an early age. Tyler was born in Kalgoorlie, Perth, and grew up alongside a gang of station children. Soon after she turned 19, Tyler left the Island to pursue a career in modeling and jewelry design in Melbourne. But later, she realized she belongs to goldfields. However, Tyler never gave up on her dream and flaunts sexy poses just like models on her social media. She was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder but nothing can stop her from getting the gold.
Tyler is the prospector of Parker's crew and smoothly handles big machines and can precisely track down the location of gold nuggets solely based on the geology and geography of a place. She is the founder and director of The Prospectors Club of Australia which has active members from around the world. Besides 'Gold Rush', she has also starred in 'Aussie Gold Hunters'. She has also released a book titled 'Gold Digger'.
Danny Etheridge: Danny has been the cameraman of 'Gold Rush: Parker's Trail' for decades. His family background of directors and editors drew Danny to the industry from a young age. The cameraman is the one who documented Parker's mining endeavors in the Klondike and beyond for 'Gold Rush' and 'Parker's Trail'.
Danny and Parker became friends while working on the goldfields and built a special bond. Danny has also worked closely with survival expert Bear Grylls for many years. He has also worked with Ant Middleton and Ross Kemp.
Danny found a home in the wilderness and spent 40 days at sea while directing the survivor TV show 'Mutiny'. He recreated a historic voyage across the unrelenting Pacific Ocean and left to battle storms and shark-infested waters with no supplies. Danny's credits also include Channel 4's 'The Plane Crash', 'HUNTED' and Sky One's big hit 'The Heist'.
Dr Diego Lazarzaburu: Dr Diego is the newcomer who joined Parker's crew. He will have a prominent role in 'Gold Rush: Parker's Trail' Season 6 as the upcoming season will feature extreme wilderness and unpredictable threats like floods. He is experienced in surgical, emergency, internal medicine, rescue, survival, expedition, and wilderness medicine. He has also worked with international medical professionals and rescued victims during natural disasters for several years. The upcoming season's teaser also gave a glimpse of Dr Diego. He was treating Parker as the gold miner had a major health scare.
'Gold Rush: Parker's Trail' airs on Discovery on Friday, April 7 at 9 pm ET.
