Chance the Rapper blocks Blake Shelton
A stunning acoustic rendition of Sam Cooke's classic, 'A Change Is Gonna Come', got coaches Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, Horan, and Shelton to turn their chairs. Chance the Rapper had the opportunity to block Shelton before he pressed his button. 'The Voice' coach who is preparing to retire immediately spotted it. Shelton joked, "You are threatened by me." By the end of the performance, Novias received a standing ovation from the coaches.
Noivas got to choose whose team he will join and all the coaches except Shelton tried to convince him. Chance the Rapper said, "I think you're a voice of this generation that deserves to be heard." Clarkson asked him to choose wisely and added she has won this a few times and even Horan tried to get him on his team. But in the end, Noivas revealed that he wanted to be on Shelton's team but since Chance took that away, he will have to make a different decision.
'He already has the win locked up'
Noivas was a fan favorite in both seasons of 'American Idol' and it seems his streak continues in 'The Voice'.
