Who is Bryce Leatherwood?

Bryce is a very religious person, who lives by a wholesome philosophy of loving and caring for his family. The 22-year-old graduated from Georgia Southern University recently. In 'The Voice', Bryce opened up about his love for his grandfather. He claims to be "lucky to have his grandfather". His grandfather had lung cancer when Bryce was a child. However, his grandfather refused to go through chemotherapy. However, Bryce was the only one who managed to convince his grandfather to go for surgeries. Well, now his grandfather has returned to better health. But he still has his grandson's greatest fear. Therefore, Bryce came up on the stage to make his grandfather proud.

Bryce's dream is to get paid for playing songs and own a farm in the country. The budding singer considers Blake Shelton as his mentor and is inspired by him.

Bryce Leatherwood on 'The Voice'

Bryce chose Blake's song for his performance. He was the deal breaker for the judges. The singer did not even hit the chorus when Blake hit his button and turned his chair. Well, the other two judges follow to turn their chairs ahead. Indeed, Bryce had three choices in his hands by the end. Well, undoubtedly he chose to be on Team Blake as he was already a big fan of theirs. Blake describes that it was an obvious yes from his side because he saw Bryce hitting the two hard notes of the song before the chorus line.

With Bryce going for Blake, fans says, "I think bryce is the real deal". Some fans believe that Bryce "will instantly be one of the favorites (if he makes it past the audition -- and with an interview piece this long, OF COURSE HE WILL)" One fan said, "Bryce is a young Tim Macgraw!!"
