STALKER OR FAN? Kelly Clarkson says creepy stranger is leaving unwanted gifts on her porch
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: American singer and songwriter Kelly Clarkson has reportedly filed a police complaint against a strange man, who is creepily trespassing on her residence's premises and leaving unwanted gifts for her.
Law enforcement sources recently told TMZ that the creep has been showing up at Kelly’s Los Angeles residence, climbing up to her porch, and leaving stuff for her for the past month. This person has reportedly left cards, plants, and other unrelated goods for the singer. The insider also said that the ‘Because of You’ singer has yet to come face-to-face with the home intruder.

The LAPD Threat Management launched an investigation into the matter after Kelly’s security called the department to file a report against the prowler. Police at this point are quite concerned about the man's reported behavior as they are unsure whether it is the actions of a harmless fan or a potentially dangerous issue.
Kelly's surveillance footage of the man has been incorporated by the LAPD as a critical piece of evidence to do a background investigation and evaluate any possible threats. The LAPD will next interrogate the intruder and determine whether to make an arrest, get a restraining order, or engage mental health professionals.
The disturbing news came out just a few days after the crooner made her fans go gaga over her latest holiday song collab. Clarkson recently released a live version of a duet with Ariana Grande for the festive number 'Santa, Can’t You Hear Me,' originally performed last year during Clarkson’s NBC Christmas special. During the duet, Grande and Clarkson wore stunning white and purple gowns, respectively, and sang joyfully together while supported by a shimmering orchestra of string musicians, backup singers, percussionists, and brass.
Clarkson took to Instagram Thursday, December 1, exactly one year after the special aired, to direct followers to the live version of her duet, writing, “It’s time, y’all! Get into the holiday spirit and listen to “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me” my duet with @arianagrande now, and add it to all your holiday playlists 🎅🏼🎶"
Kelly Clarkson, in the recent past, has spent a good year and a half, working through her divorce from now ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. She settled her divorce with Blackstock in March of this year. The two split in June 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage. After Clarkson's divorce was settled, a source told PEOPLE that the television personality "is obviously happy.” They added “The kids have always been her main priority through everything," the insider said at the time, referencing the former couple's daughter River Rose, 7, and son Remington Alexander, 5.
