LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'X-Men ‘97', Episode 5, titled 'Remember It', which premiered on Disney+ on April 10, really packed a punch, even for die-hard Marvel fans.

However, former creator Beau DeMayo teased that the emotional journey is just beginning, promising even more intense moments to come. Despite expectations that the show had already peaked emotionally, DeMayo hints at further surprises in store.

DeMayo, who was fired from 'X-Men ‘97' shortly before its premiere, posted on his official X handle speaking about the show. He mentioned how Episode 5 held a special place in his heart. He even called it the "centerpiece" of their pitch to Marvel back in 2020.

It's remarkable to think that 'Remember It' is only halfway through the first season of 'X-Men '97', considering the magnitude of the events.

Typically, Marvel shows save the major developments for the middle, often criticized for having filler episodes even in the most praised MCU TV series. But 'X-Men '97' breaks that pattern, ramping up the action towards the finale much earlier than expected.

On April 10, Beau DeMayo responded to thrilled 'X-Men '97' fans on X. When they praised Episode 5, he replied, "This was our warm-up," suggesting that the best is yet to come, and the best episode of the show hasn't even aired yet!

In another reply for the same post, they said, "Episode 8-10 is my big one," claiming that they are coming back with a better storyline than what we saw in Episode 5.

When asked if 'Remember It' was their favorite episode to make, they replied, "It’s up there. 8,9, and especially 10 compete."

Please STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY," while another wrote, "Later episodes more traumatic than this? I don't believe you. Please confirm." One surprised fan commented, "WARM UP?????"

One grateful fan commented, "I always had faith in you! Thanks for making us fans proud!" A fan, praising DeMayo wrote, "Good job Mr. Demayo I was not familiar with your game."

"Thank you sir ..where is the petition? Because, we need this writing," wrote one fan, while another said, "You mean…we really haven't seen ANYTHING yet? Oh god, you guys are gonna have to pay for all the therapy sessions after this."

A stunned fan commented, "Excuse me...I'm sorry- Your WHAT?!?!" "Don't you dare," said one fan, while another wrote, "War- what?"

Episode 5 drops strong hints that Cable will play a role in the upcoming events, following his brief appearance. However, the direction of the rest of the season remains uncertain.

We can anticipate resolutions to the Cyclops/Jean/Maddie Pryor/Wolverine storyline, likely involving Cable, and Storm's loss of powers. Additionally, questions linger about who sent the Wild Sentinels to Genosha, whether Professor Xavier's departure is permanent, and the possibility of Magneto's return.

With all this packed into just five episodes, it seems 'X-Men '97' fans are in for quite a ride.
