EXO has released stunning character clips and teaser for their special album 'Don't Fight The Feeling', which will star EXO Kai, Baekhyun, Sehun, Chanyeol, Xiumin, D.O, and Lay. The special album's promotions made K-pop history as SM Entertainment launched a brand new game as part of their teaser reveal titled 'EXO-Ship Saga.'

One of the most unique things about the K-pop album is that the EXO members have been completely involved in the making process. They were seen making teaser clips and clicking photos of each other for 'Don't Fight The Feeling' concept reveal. So far, the group has pretty much kept fans in suspense about the theme of the album.

How EXO carved a new path for Korean music prior to their album release

EXO has been known for their stellar vocals, out-of-the-world harmonization, and choreography that only they can pull off. But for this comeback album 'Don't Fight The Feeling', the K-pop supergroup went one step ahead and launched a brand new concept where fans have to play a game to gain access to the teaser. The unique idea was welcomed by fans as they started pouring praise for the K-pop group on social media. Regarding the theme of the album, there has been a sea of anticipatory fan posts. 

Speaking of the unique concept idea, a fan said, "EXO mentioned that the new MV is somehow related to Power right? Actually the whole concept might be including the lyrics! Power's lyrics is motivating with words like "Don't hesitate, move on... Throw away your fear, we can do it" and the new song has "Don't fight the feeling!" Another fan chimed in saying, "The way love me right era has always been my favourite but don't fight the feeling is making me feel everything all once exo's top tier visuals, the cinematography, the concept of space and spaceships??? I'm in love with everything!"

Additionally, media reports have noted that prior to the release, EXO's upcoming special album 'Don't Fight The Feeling' have crossed over 1,220,181 pre-orders, making it their biggest pre-record numbers even while being on hiatus.

After EXO launched their game 'EXO-Ship saga', fans took to Twitter to share their excitement at the new trend, hoping it will be followed by next K-pop generations. A fan said, "The next time your favs release a game for their comeback, y'all should thank EXO for that. EXO IS THE STANDARD. EXO IS THE BLUEPRINT."
