Enhypen becomes the youngest K-pop act to bag ‘Initial Chodong Gold’ certification
While Belift Labs boy group Enhypen celebrates the first year since a successful 2020 debut, the year 2021 is been pretty great for the group as well. On December 27, it was announced that Enhypen had received an ‘Initial Chodong Gold Certification’ Plaque for their first studio album, ‘Dimension:Dilemma’ that was released in October this year. The boy group is now the youngest K-pop act to receive a gold certification in 13 months after their debut.
Enhypen was awarded the Gold Certification plaque from Hanteo Charts after the announcement of their global certification of the year 2021. The ‘Hanteo Chart Official Initial Chodong Certification Plaque’ is a commemorative plaque that certifies the official record of an artist who exceeds a certain number of album sales based on the 'Initial Chodong' sales - the data that is aggregated by the real-time music chart, Hanteo Chart.

Enhypen ‘Dimension: Dilemma’ gets Gold Certification
With their autumn release, ‘Dimension: Dilemma’ that heralded a million sellers in October 2021. Enhypen has now set a new record for Initial Chodong sales with a total of 818,716 copies sold with their first studio album. In particular, the first day of the ‘Initial Chodong counting’, Enhypen recorded a total of 501,748 copies sold of ‘Dimension: Dilemma’ which awarded them the title of ‘Initial Chodong Half Million Seller’.
Now, after surpassing 800K sales (after release) with their first full-length album, ‘Dimension: Dilemma’, Enhypen has become one of the youngest K-pop acts to become Gold Certified in the first year of their debut. To commemorate this, Hanteo Chart issued a gold certification plaque that was awarded to Enhypen. A gold certification plaque means that the Initial Chodong sales volume exceeds 500,000 copies.
Enhypen announces, ‘Dimension: Answer’
This is not the only good news for Engenes (Enhypen fans) today as the group has also announced their new album ‘Dimension: Answer’ which will be released as their first full-length repackaged album. Enhypen will release the album on January 10, 2022 and in order to promote the album, the group has been posting a series of concept photos that will decorate the release of this album. The first concept of the album is titled, ‘NO’ verion and a series of picturesque, moodboard-like photos have been released from the group on their social media accounts.
For the release of ‘Dimension: Answer’ Enhypen has released a series of three mood boards which include prop items like small desks and chairs alongside a board with sentences that arouse curiosity among fans. In the pictures posted, fans are able to see a hand holding a prop with the phrase ‘Liar’ written over it. Fans are now curious about the underlying meanings of these objects, phrases, and images which will slowly be revealed by the group. Ahead of the release of their first repackaged album, Enhypen is set to appear at the 2022 Weverse Con representing their label, HYBE alongside other artists from the label like TXT, formis_9, Seventeen as well as Justin Bieber.
