'Can’t wait to see this film': Fans ecstatic as trailer of new Disney-Pixar movie 'Elemental' drops

Disney and Pixar's 'Elemental' will feature an Element City, which is resided over by elements including fire, water, air and Earth

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The collaboration between Disney and Pixar has always been a trailblazer in going beyond the limits to tell an heart-wrenching story that leaves a mark in our hearts. Pixar has proven this time and again with its mind-bending movies like 'Coco' and 'Soul'. And the studios are coming together again to get the fans emotional with the new movie 'Elemental'. Now, the new trailer for the movie has been released. 

Directed by Peter Sohn, the man behind 'The Good Dinosaur' and 'Lightyear', comes yet another wonderful and promising film. 'Elemental' stars Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie in the lead voice cast. Leah Lewis plays Ember Lumen, a fire element, a strong, quick-witted young woman and Mamoudou Athie plays Wade Ripple, a water element, who is a fun and go-with-the-flow guy. The movie also stars Ronnie del Carmen as Bernie, Shila Ommi as Cinder, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Gale, Catherine O’Hara as Brook, Mason Wertheimer as Clod, and Joe Pera as Fern.

Disney and Pixar's new world

Disney and Pixar have once again reached the height of imagination and created a new city called 'Element City', which is resided over by elements including fire, water, air and Earth. Each element is seen to be living in separate places and the mingling of two different elements is frowned upon. The trailer shows us a wonderful animation and promises a great summer movie. 

Intriguing trailer of 'Elemental'

Pixar has recently released a new trailer for 'Elemental' that promises a whirlwind adventure. The official synopsis of the movie describes it as a "all-new original feature film that transports moviegoers to an extraordinary place called Element City, where a host of elements live and work. The trailer showcases each element—air, earth, water and fire—and what sets them apart according to Ember, a quick-witted and fiery woman who’s always stayed close to home in Firetown."

The synopsis adds, "In 'Elemental', which opens in theaters on June 16, she finally ventures out of her comfort zone to explore this spectacular world born from the imaginations of Pixar’s filmmakers and specifically crafted for the big-screen experience. Element City is inspired by big cities around the globe and embraces theorized contributions from each elemental community—from giant pine-tree-like buildings and waterfall skyscrapers to a tornado-shaped arena called Cyclone Stadium." 

'I can’t wait to see this film'

As soon as the trailer of the movie was released, fans started expressing their love for the upcoming film. One fan commented, "This looks pretty cute! It’s nice to see a romantic film from Disney again, I am looking forward to seeing it." Another fan appreciated the movie by writing, "I have a feeling that this movie will be one of the most creative films ever!" One fan noted, "Now that’s what we’ve been waiting for. And everything from the visual look, the premise, the performances, the premise, the thematic undertones, and the characters already got me sold. I can’t wait to see this film."

'I feel like I'm really gonna enjoy the world'

One fan shared their excitement by adding, "YES!! A Disney Pixar film that defines Summertime and I can’t wait for it #Elemental." Further, someone shared, "I feel like i’m really gonna enjoy the world." Whilet, another fan added, "Ok, that looks pretty damn good. I mean, I know that people are starting to get tired with the realistic animation and even me so I really love that while this movie has a lot of Pixar realistic visuals it's also mixed with other styles. The Elementals movie is beautiful."

'Elemental' is set to release exclusively in theaters in 3D on June 16, 2023.
