When will 'Inside Out 2' release?
Walt Disney Studios is releasing the film in theaters on June 19, 2022, but it will be available to stream by the end of the year.
What is 'Inside Out 2' all about?
The first installment of the film saw Riley in her toddler phase, trying to juggle her emotions. Primarily five of them — happiness, disgust, anger, fear and sadness. The movie also showcased her parent's trying to figure out their lives with their five 'mature' emotions, contrasting with Riley's inner emotional landscape that is less developed. By the end of the film, Riley had grasped the complex interplay of emotions linked to her complicated, bitter-sweet memories.
The second installment will be more about Riley in her teenage years. Riley is now 15 and plunged into the hormonal hell of puberty. Adolescence is known as the time your emotions go haywire and so expect pure havoc, drama, moments of betrayal, and every bit of hormonal change that a teenage kid goes through in the sequel. Strap yourselves for a roller coaster ride of a lifetime!

The audience is now desperate to know the plot of the second installment. 'Inside Out 2' will have the same characters as it had in the first film. Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader, and Lewis Black will voice the five emotions Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger. But there will also be eleven more emotions in the second installment with eleven more actors representing Riley's turbulent inner world.
