Social Media can be absolutely unforgiving at times, regardless of who you are and what you are doing. For Suni Lee, she is not an exception to this rule and during her time on 'Dancing With The Stars', she has dealt with her fair share of hate. Combined with last week's performance, where she was severely unwell, Lee was starting to feel the heat.

However, she also decided that seeing that it was the quarter-finals, Lee decided it was time to just block out the haters and give it her all. For 'Janet Jackson Night', she and pro Sasha Farber dancing the Samba to 'All For You'.

Derek Hough was all praises for Lee after her performance, pointing out that she was both, vibrant and beautiful. Bruno Tonioli noted that they were running on high octane and that their performance was an 'authentic samba'. Carrie Ann Inaba was proud of Lee, seeing that she finally saw her let go. Len Goodman has an interesting analogy too, stating that if he was a doctor doing a health checkup, Lee's performance would have been an A1 dance. Lee bagged her first perfect score, earning 40 out of 40.

Fans poured out their support for the athlete and had nothing but kind words to offer this time around. "#DWTS whO IS TALKIN BAD ABOUT sUNI LEE becAUSE THIS WOMAN WAS SICK LAST WEEK BUT HAD A COMEBACK OF A PERFECT SCOREEEEEE" tweeted a fan. "Ohhhhhh Suni you are so wrong, as are the idiots. On natural raw talent, NO ONE Beats you. Your issue is bc of your age, you don't tend to absorb the role of the dance & LET GO . #JanetNight #DWTS" tweeted a fan. "Suni lee what a beautiful person, gymnast and dancer you are. Ignore the negative people. They are jealous AND it's sooooo easy for them to sit on their butts and criticise others when you're not face to face. Stay strong, stay beautiful! #DWTS" added a fan. "Why are people being mean to Suni?? Makes no sense- she’s a young #olympicmedallist - I don’t get it! #BeKind #DWTS" said a user.

When it came to the dance-off, Lee went up against Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater, as they both performed to 'Made For Now (Latin Version)'. Their performances were judged by Bruno Tonioli. And while Tonioli noted that both dances had balance and technique, he awarded his additional 2 points to Lee, bumping her score up to 42. When it came down to the double-elimination, Lee was safe, making her way to the semi-finals!

Catch Season 30 of 'Dancing With The Stars' on Monday at 8/7c on ABC. You can also stream the episodes on abc.com and Hulu.
