For fans of 'Dancing With The Stars', Olympic gymnast Suni Lee is undoubtedly a frontrunner. While she has been struggling to open up on stage, there is no denying that her form is impeccable, and her flips are executed to perfection. However, the judges feel as though she is yet to open up entirely on the show.

Although Britney Week seemed like a challenge for Lee, she was determined to do well during 'Disney Heroes Night'. Lee and pro Sasha Farber danced the Salsa to 'Colombia, Mi Encanto' from 'Encanto', a new Disney movie scheduled to premiere this November. Lee even noted that she found a lot of similarities between herself and the main character of 'Encanto', Mirabel.

For Lee, finding gymnastics was like finding her magic. She mentioned that she was terrible at first, but continued to put in the time and effort and soon improved. Winning gold at the Olympics was a moment she'll never forget, and it was all due to her hard work. She hoped to bring out her inner Mirabel for her performance and, more importantly, bring out her personality.

Len Goodman said this was the most expressive he'd seen Lee thus far on the show. Bruno Tonioli mentioned that it was a 'fiesta of a salsa', while Carrie Ann Inaba pointed out that every move Lee carries out is picture-perfect. Derek Hough noted that he loves watching Lee open up on the dance floor each week while mentioning that she performed well. She scored 33 out of 40, with Hough scoring her a nine while the other judges scored her eights.

Fans felt as though Lee deserved more than the one 9 she scored. "First time I'm going to say this: @sunisalee_ was criminally underscored today. Her salsa was a 9, at the very least. #DWTS" tweeted a fan. "Can we talk about how underrated @sunisalee_ is on #dwts Her and @SashaFarber killed it tonight and deserved more than one 9!!!" agreed another.

Moreover, they were also glad to see Lee have fun, seeing that compared to previous performance, she was far more into her element.
"That was @sunisalee_'s best dance of the season. I hope she's having a good time - she's a treasure!! #DWTS" tweeted a fan. "This is the most fun I've seen @sunisalee_ have dancing! #dwts" added another."SO FUN!! @sunisalee_ @SashaFarber #DWTS salsa was super fun to watch & made me so happy!! Loving their chemistry together, every week is better than the 1 before This was Suni's best performance & I can't w8 to see more! They're got my votes!! @DancingABC" tweeted a fan. "Suni came out of her shell! Way to go girl!  @sunisalee_ #DWTS" said another.
