'DWTS' Horror Night: Fans say Melora Hardin 'crushed' her act, call her 'their light'

With Halloween fast approaching 'Dancing With The Stars' contestants pulled out all stops to give frighteningly good performances

It's Fall season which also brings along the spooky season with Halloween almost upon us! Grab those pumpkins and carve them people as 'Dancing With The Stars' brought in the holiday early with its Horror Night. The contestants on the ABC show are here to scare us but are also scared themselves as they face the risk of being eliminated once again.

Actress Melora Hardin who is competing this season has been winning judges and audiences love with her great performances. Last week's Grease Night saw her dance the Viennese waltz to bag the high score of 36 out of 40. For tonight's Horror Night she and partner Artem Chigvintsev danced the Jive to “Hound Dog” by Elvis Presley inspired by the horror movie 'Cujo'. The actress who is the daughter of actors shared her personal connection with the movie as we found out her dad starred in it. Her parents also paid her a visit to the dance studio with Hardin dedicating her performance to them, expressing her gratefulness for them being with her even today. Melora and Artem putting on a display of fear of the rabid dog in 'Cujo' performed well as usual. Coming to the judges' reactions, Judge Carrie Ann said it was a great performance but she needs to give it more. Continuing she added that it has become a pattern and that Hardin needs to push herself more. She scored the actress an 8. Judge Derek agreeing with Carrie Ann said it was fantastic but she needs to be pushed more. He scored her an 8 as well. Judge Len said it was a mix of quantity and quality with a joy being in quantity and jive being there in quality. He called it great and gave her a 9. Judge Bruno said all her performances make him feel good and that he loved how she played it with wit and humor. He scored her a 9 as well. With two 8's and two 9's Melora's score came to a total of 34 out of 40. Here's how fans reacted.
