LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s newest action-comedy series ‘FUBAR’ has finally been released on Netflix and received mixed reviews. The series primarily focuses on retired CIA agent Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger) who is called back for one final mission. However, he didn’t know that his life would turn upside down as soon as he started working on it. Soon, he realizes that his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro), who also happens to be working for the CIA, is working on the same case and is forced to work under the leadership of her dad.

Luke, Emma, and the entire team stitch up a plan to catch Boro (Gabriel Luna), an international terrorist who is trying to kill millions of people with his diabolical plan. The latest series is not just about action or catching a deadly terrorist, it’s also an emotional take on a troubled father-daughter relationship. There have been a lot of projects showing the lives of CIA agents and how they manage to keep their jobs a secret from their loved ones, even their wives, and ‘FUBAR’ isn’t the first time Schwarzenegger has been tasked with such a role. In the 1994 movie ‘True Lies’, he played a CIA agent who never told his wife about his work. However, things are pretty different this time around.

Fans 'annoyed' with Netflix for 'zero publicity'

The show plays on Arnold’s strengths and comes forward with a story that’s messy and fun. However, it seems fans didn’t even know that Netflix was coming out with a series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and took out their frustration on social media for the lack of publicity that ‘FUBAR’ received.

One of the fans noted, “Nothing is more telling to me of how the current streaming model is a black hole than the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new project dropped on Netflix today & I have seen zero chatter about it among the action fan circles I run in. New Arnold content should be an event.”

Another social media user wrote, “Saw a review this morning and it was literally the first time I had ever heard a single thing about this wtf?” Another social media user tweeted, “I had zero clue.” Another social media user wrote, “I didn't see any mention of it all except from Arnold himself. Then BAM an email from Netflix to announce it? That's it?”

“I didn’t even know this existed until you posted this tweet,” wrote another user. “How the hell did I not hear about this until now?!” tweeted another user.

Looks like fans are not happy with Netflix being so inconsiderate about the show that includes such an extraordinary action star.
