DENVER, COLORADO: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7 star Mama June Shannon recently faced criticism and outrage from her daughters Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird and Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson over missing money from Coogan account. Honey Boo Boo, who has been working since childhood, was expecting that her mother had saved a hefty cash that she could use to pay for her college tuition fees.
However, the WETV show star left hurt and disappointed after finding out that June had spent 80 percent of her Coogan account. In the latest episode, Honey Boo Boo was left stunned after June told her Coogan account only contains $33,000 adding, "That's The Masked Singer and part of the Dancing With the Stars money."
Honey Boo Boo claimed in the confessional, "There should at least be six figures in that account!" She added, "Something's not adding up. My money is somewhere. It needs to be found right now, ASAP. Because this is not gonna work." Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin continued to bash June and tried to know the truth. However, June became defensive and asserted it was the result of taxes.
She said, "I can't help that there's not more money." June added, "Taxes were took out automatically, 50 percent." June continued to assert her innocence, maintaining that she had not stolen Honey Boo Boo's money. However, her daughters remained skeptical of her claims. June argued that Honey Boo Boo should be content with the $33k she was receiving. She said, "That's a hell of a lot more than most 18 year olds start off their life with."
Honey Boo Boo retaliated, "Yeah but I've been on TV since I was 6." Besides 'Mama June' spinoffs, the reality star appeared on 'The Masked Singer' in 2019, and the special season of 'Dancing With the Stars: Juniors' in 2018.
Did June Shannon lie about spending Honey Boo Boo's Coogan account?
Mama June Shannon has been accused of lying about Honey Boo Boo's Coogan account. Previously, she had assured Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin that she had deposited 100 percent of her earnings from her appearance on 'Dancing with the Stars'. However, she instead saving only 20 percent of it. June claimed that she paid for Honey Boo Boo's expenses, Jessica Shannon's $6,500 college fees, and recently bought a house from the reality star's Coogan account.
She said, "You have been taking care of your own self, paying your own bills since you were the age of 12." June added, "And you've been doing a good job of it." Honey Boo Boo slammed back, "From my perspective, I didn't spend anything of that money." She added, "You spent that money on what you wanted to do with it because I didn't have no say-so on where that money went."
Pumpkin calls June Shannon a 'dirty dog'
'Mama June' star Pumpkin confronted June Shannon, accusing her of stealing Honey Boo Boo's money and lying about it. She accused her mother of thinking that her daughters would simply "forget about all that money and walk away." June clapped back at Pumpkin's accusation, "I'm f****g tired of people making me look like I f*****g spent money in a Coogan account when hello, nobody can touch money in a Coogan account."
Pumpkin interrupted June's clarification and said, "You touched it before it got in here baby, cause you had to put the bottom line percentage, you had to have." She added, "You a dirty dog for that."
