'DWTS' Finale: Amanda Kloots ranks below Cody Rigsby, fans say 'make it make sense'

It's here! It's finally here! The much anticipated 'Dancing With The Stars' finale finally took place and it was a stunning affair! The celebs that fought tooth and nail to be here came down to the final four. 

TV personality Amanda Kloots after a touching Semifinals performance got her chance at competing for the Mirror Ball trophy alongside her pro partner Alan Bersten. The Finale included the pairs dancing two different styles- a Fusion and a Freestyle. Kloot who has had a tough two years after her husband's death ha found the competition helpful in the process of healing. For her first performance, she did the Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble fusion dance to “Never Tear Us Apart” which was followed up by a freestyle dance to “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay. For her fusion performance, Amanda was met with positive reviews. Guest Judge Julianne said she's been watching her consistency of strength and said that she achieved a perfect balance in the fusion scoring her a 9. Judge Bruno said that the fusion was a dangerous combination but was done successfully and was sizzling hot. He gave her a 10. Judge Len gave a very poetic compliment and said that she was like the eclipse of a sun as a dancer and gave her a 10 as well. Judge Carrie Ann said she was fabulous but pointed out a little stumble at the end awarding her a 9 for a total of 38 out of 40. 

Before bidding adieu to the show a clip showed us her and partner Alan reminiscing on their time together. She shared that the show had allowed her to explore herself and crat a bond with him adding that she found someone who cared and made her push herself. Alan too was sad about it being the last performance and thanked her for making him grow as a dancer as well.

Her final freestyle saw her flash a radiant smile throughout the routine as she thoroughly enjoyed it. The performance which was starry and magical started out with the duo suspended as they went all in alongside backup dancers. The audience and judges loved the and enjoyed the dance. Judge Carrie Ann said that Amanda was hope and resilience personified and that the dance was very her. Judge Bruno said it was pure jubilation and that a star was born before his eyes. Judge Julianne said she wanted to dance alongside her as well and added that she has the whole universe inside her. Judge Len commented that he loved her beauty and applauded her lyrical dancing. All four of them gave her 10s for a perfect score of 40. This left her with a total of 78 out of 80.

The end of the nigh saw the finale results announced with Amanda placing last amongst the four finalists. Viewers of 'DWTS' did not like the fact that she came in fourth below 'worst dancer' Cody Rigsby and went online to share their annoyance. Here's what they said.

A viewer commented, "Is anyone going to mention HOW IN THE HELL did Cody beat Amanda? I have no words. #DWTSfinale #DWTS." Another fan said, " I'm just still so bitter about Amanda getting 4th place & Cody getting 3rd like in what world did y'all think that was okay bc ?????? #dwts". A tweet read, "On another note. How did Cody finish higher than Amanda? #DWTS". 

A fan commented, "Tbh tho… Amanda definitely deserved to place higher than Cody did. But then again, so did Suni, Melora, Jimmie, Olivia and maybe even the Miz, lol. One thing I learned this season was that peloton stans are actually a thing #dwts". Another one of the tweets read, "can we talk about how Cody got third… what the fuck he is the worst dancer on the show, amanda deserved that spot #dwts". Yet another viewer commented, "Amanda got 4th, and Cody got 3rd. Make it make sense y’all! #DWTS"
