'DWTS' Janet Jackson Night: Fans celebrate as Amanda Kloots bags first perfect score
For Amanda Kloots, her journey on Season 30 of 'Dancing With The Stars' has not been an easy one. With fans calling her out constantly on having a dancers background to judges putting pressure on her each week, Kloots is certainly expected to always bring her A-game.
However, even though she has been doing so and has some incredible performances to her name, she always seems to fall short of that perfect score. This week, for 'Janet Jackson Night' Kloots was ready to flip the script. She and pro Alan Bersten danced Jazz to 'Miss You Much'.

Alan and co. went off on that choreo. #DWTS" added another. "AMANDA AND ALAN FINALLY GETTING THE 40 THEY’VE DESERVED FOR WEEKS I DON’T KNOW A BETTER PARTNERSHIP #dwts" stated a fan. "Amanda & Alan dancing a jazz routine to Miss You Much A really fun routine. I think jazz & contemporary routines allow more of the star’s personality to shine through. Love Amanda’s Janet inspired costume. #DWTS #JanetJacksonNight" tweeted a fan.

During this week's dance-off, she faced Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke, as the duos danced the Cha Cha to 'Together Again' and were judged by Len Goodman. When it came to the final scoring, Goodman had two points that he could award to either of the couples. Goodman handed those points over the Kloots, bumping up her total to 42, placing her at the top of the leaderboard. This week, she was tied at the top spot with Melora Hardin and Suni Lee, both of whom scored 40 and bagged the additional points as well. Seeing that she was safe from elimination too, Kloots has now advanced to the semi-finals as well!
