Season 30 of 'Dancing With The Stars' is underway and if the first two episodes are any indicators of frontrunners, it looks like the ladies are dominating this season. With Amanda Kloots and JoJo Siwa getting consistently high scores, the person that's hot on their tail is none other than Melanie C of the Spice Girls

Last week, Melanie C danced the Cha Cha to 'Wannabe' by Spice Girls, along with her partner Gleb Savchenko. This week, the two performed the foxtrot to 'Here Comes the Sun' by The Beatles. As with most performances this week, Mel C also had a close connection to the song selected.

The Spice Girls and The Beatles have two things in common -- not only did both groups go on to become international phenomenons, but The Beatles are from Liverpool, and so is she. So performing to their song was a chance for her to show off her Liverpool pride. And it looks like this performance was one that she can most certainly be proud of. As Len Goodman explained it, he was thinking of another Beatles song, namely, 'Please Please Me' and she managed to do just that with her performance.

Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough all agreed that she was elegant and graceful and it translated well into her dance. The judges gave her 30 points and combined with last week's score; she has a total of 57 points. She is currently in second place on the scoreboard, just three points away from Amanda Kloots and JoJo Siwa, who are in the top spot with 60 points each.

While the fan support for Mel C has been pouring in, she also has one fan from across the pond, who even sent in a video message. Ringo Starr, the drummer of The Beatles, sent in a video wishing her 'peace, love and all the best', seeing that she was repping Liverpool pride. She was surprised by the video, but it made for a great end to a stellar performance.

Looks like Melanie C is one to watch out for this season. Do you think she has what it takes to take over the top spot? Sound off below! Watch 'Dancing With The Stars' on Monday at 8/7c on ABC. You can also stream the episodes on abc.com and Hulu.
