The highly awaited documentary film ‘Civil: Ben Crump’ releases globally on Netflix at June 19, 2022, by 3.01 am EST. Before that, it is officially going to have a premiere at the American Black Films Festival on June 15, 2022.

What is ‘Civil: Ben Crump’ all about?

The docu film is going to give an insight into the life of renowned civil rights attorney and lawyer Benjamin Crump who has been relentlessly working each day with Black people. It would also be emphasizing about his impact on American judicial system and civil rights justice. It describes how he has been considered as a maverick of his field where his life’s mission has always been to raise value of black citizens. With Crump as the lawyer working with the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and several others, he openly throws a challenge to American judicial system for what they all owe to his clients.

The official synopsis reads, “An intimate vérité look following the life of maverick civil rights attorney Ben Crump as he challenges America to come to terms with what it owes his clients—including the families of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
