'Celebrity IOU' Season 3: Snoop Dogg, Lisa Kudrow, Halle Berry to appear on HGTV's home renovation show

The all-new Season 3 of HGTV's home renovation show, 'Celebrity IOU', promises to be more than just another reality show. Are you all geared up to welcome the cast, coupled with emotional moments, and witness several dazzling home renovations? 

Business partners and stars of 'Property Brothers', Jonathan and Drew Scott are all set for another season of their creative, heartwarming home renovation show. On the show, we can expect the brothers to help out more Hollywood superstars as they chart out home refurbishing plans together. The all-new season's lineup of celebrities includes Tiffany Haddish, Halle Berry, Lisa Kudrow, Anthony Anderson, Snoop Dogg, Howie Mandel, and John C. Reilly. Read on to know more.

Here's a quick look at who we can expect to see on the show. 

Tiffany Haddish 

Tiffany Haddish is a popular actress and stand-up comedian. Haddish rose to fame for portraying the witty role of Nekeisha Williams on NBC's famous sitcom, 'The Carmichael Show', which aired from 2015 to 2017. Her career had a breakthrough with the lead role in the 2017 comedy, 'Girls Trip' (2017), which earned her nominations for two Critics' Choice Awards!

In 2021, Haddish's stellar performance in the above-mentioned film was included on The New Yorker's list; of the best film performances of the 21st century. She went on to win a Primetime Emmy Award in 2017, for hosting a Saturday Night Live episode and also published a memoir that same year, called 'The Last Black Unicorn'.

Further, Haddish was named "one of the 100 most influential people in the world", in 2018 by Time magazine. In addition, the Hollywood Reporter penned down her name among the "100 most powerful people in entertainment", twice in a row, years 2018 and 2019! 



 

Halle Berry

Actress and model Halle Berry had her name put on the map way back in the 80s when she placed as the first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant and came in sixth at the Miss World pageant in 1986.

She's known popularly for her breakthrough film role in the rom-com 'Boomerang' (1992), working alongside Eddie Murphy. Soon after, she landed roles in 'Flintstones' (1994) and 'Bulworth' (1998). She nabbed a role in the TV film 'Introducing Dorothy Dandridge' in 1999, which won her a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.

During the 2000s, Berry had done pretty well in her career and was even one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. Some of her notable accolades include the Academy Award for Best Actress 'Monster's Ball '(2001). This was a big win as she was the only African-American woman to have won the award at the time.



 

Lisa Kudrow

Comedian, actor, and producer, Lisa Kudrow shot to worldwide fame for her role as the eccentric Phoebe Buffay in the popular sitcom 'Friends', which aired between 1994 and 2004. Her brilliant portrayal of the said character won her both a Primetime Emmy and a Screen Actors Guild award. Her character on 'Friends' is still one of the most popular roles out there, for which she was later recognized and labeled as one of the greatest female characters in American television history. 

Kudrow received immense praise back in 2007, for her role in the film 'Kabluey'. Further, she has also produced and starred in the Showtime program called 'Web Therapy', from 2011 to 2015; the same was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.

Kudrow is currently the producer for the TLC reality program called, 'Who Do You Think You Are'; the actress already has five Primetime Emmy Award nominations to her name for the same!



 

Anthony Anderson

Actor and comedian, Anthony Anderson, has made his appearance in several films as well as TV shows. Aside from starring in his own sitcom called 'All About the Andersons', you must have seen him on NBC's comedy sitcom, 'Black-ish' as well as Fox's 'The Bernie Mac Show', in its 5th season. 

Anderson is most popularly known for his portraying the lead roles in the series 'K-Ville', 'The Shield' and on NBC's 'Law & Order', as NYPD Detective Kevin Bernard. At the NAACP Awards, Anderson won an award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for 'Black-ish', starting in 2015, and for two years after that, totaling up to 3 awards! 



 

Snoop Dogg

Born with the name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., Snoop Dogg is probably one of the most famous rappers in the industry. He is also a songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur by profession. 

Snoop' breakout moment came in 1992 when he was featured on Dr. Dre's debut solo single called 'Deep Cover', and later on Dre's debut solo album, called 'The Chronic'. Since then, Snoop has sold over 23 million albums in the US alone, and a total of 35 million albums all over the world. Snoop's debut 1993 solo album called 'Doggystyle', debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, as well as on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In the very first week of the album's release, he sold over 800,000 copies!



 

Howie Mandel

The famous Canadian comedian Howie Mandel has taken up several job roles, including that of a screenwriter, actor, producer, director, entrepreneur, game show host, as well as an author!

Mandel was the host of the popular American CNBC (which was originally NBC) game show called 'Deal or No Deal'. He also lent his voice for the 1984 film, 'Gremlins' and the 1990 sequel 'Gremlins 2: The New Batch', as the voice of the character, Gizmo. Between the years 1982 and 1988, Mandel played the role of Dr. Wayne Fiscus in NBC's 'St. Elsewhere'. What's more, he was also the mastermind behind creating and voicing FOX's cartoon, 'Bobby's World'. Mandel has been on the judging panel of NBC's 'America's Got Talent' since 2010 and as of 2022, on 'Canada's Got Talent' as well. 



 

John C. Reilly

The famous John Christopher Reilly needs no introduction; the man's been making us laugh and cry since forever. Aside from being a comedian, the actor is also known for his 'serious' character roles. He is also a  screenwriter, musician, and producer.

He made his debut in film in the 1989 film, 'Casualties of War'. Some of his remarkable work include his roles in 'Days of Thunder' (1990), 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' (1993), 'The River Wild' (1994), 'Hard Eight' (1996), 'Boogie Nights' (1997), 'Magnolia' (1999), and also 'The Thin Red Line' (1998) directed by Terrence Malick. 

Reily was nominated for his performance in the 2002 film, 'Chicago' (2002), for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, as well as a Golden Globe Award for the same. 



 

Season 3 of 'Celebrity IOU' premieres on April 18, at 9 pm ET,  on HGTV. You can also stream it on Discovery+ the same day
