'CAN'T wait': Fans amazed after John Cena's character in 'Barbie' is revealed at CinemaCon 2023
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie' has been creating a lot of buzz since news about the Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling-starrer came out. Not only is the movie a childhood dream come true, but the ensemble cast makes it even better. During CinemaCon 2023, it was revealed what characters John Cena and Dua Lipa will play in the movie.
Cena and Lipa will play Merman Ken and Mermaid Barbie in the movie. Exclusive footage from the movie was released during CinemaCon revealing more about the movie, including a war between Barbies and Kens while Robbie and Gosling's characters cause trouble in the real world.

John Cena's standout moment
Cena's involvement in the movie 'Barbie' was revealed when the first trailer of the movie came out, but fans were unaware of what character he would play. However, this year's CinemaCon answered their questions when Cena's character was revealed to be Merman Ken in the movie. With his great comedic timing, it’ll be fascinating to see him as a merman and what he’ll do with the character. It's to be noted that Dua Lipa is playing Mermaid Barbie.

Frenzied fans took to social media as soon as Cena's character was revealed. A user said, "John Cena has always been a merman." Another fan chimed in with, "DADDY AND MOMMY TOGETHER THIS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME." One user typed out excitedly and said, "I CANT wait for this movie!" What is the cast of 'Barbie'?
Along with Robbie and Gosling the movie stars Kate McKinnon as Weird Barbie, Issa Rae as President Barbie, Hari Nef as Doctor Barbie, Alexandra Shipp as Writer Barbie, Emma Mackey as Physicist Barbie, Sharon Rooney as Lawyer Barbie, Nicola Coughlan as Diplomat Barbie, Ana Cruz Kayne as Judge Barbie and Ritu Arya as Journalist Barbie. Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Scott Evans, and Ncuti Gatwa will plays different Kens while Will Ferrell will play the CEO of the toy company.
