'Bull' stands out for its treatment of various issues on the show making for an entertaining as well as informative watch and today's episode revolving around the effects of serving in the army took center stage.

The official CBS synopsis for Episode 13 reads: 'Bull helps his friend mount a diminished capacity defense for a sergeant accused of killing a fellow soldier; a French gallery owner needs legal assistance to stop an auction house from selling a piece of art that should be repatriated.' Episode 13 sees Bull (Michael Weatherly) being approached by an army friend Colonel Victor (Lou Diamond Phillips) who is also a therapist about defending a soldier who is pleading guilty to killing his best friend who is also a soldier. We saw the military man grapple with PTSD after serving in multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan which causes him to have panic attacks, blackouts, and more. Turns out he was trying to defend his friend who was also secretly suffering from PTSD and who ended up killing himself to escape it all. 

Fans who tuned in love that the writers brought to light this very real issue and were also delighted to see Lou Diamond Phillips play Bull's army friend. This is what they had to say about the episode.
