The five episodes of 'Bull' Season 5 so far are a stark contrast to the episodes of the previous seasons. It is perhaps keeping the 16-episode season in mind that the writers have opted for more novel plotlines. In addition, they have focussed more on character development this season making the hit CBS legal procedural a lot more intriguing. From incorporating Covid-19 and twisting Benny Colon's (Freddy Rodriguez) arc, 'Bull' has made some massive strides.

However, in what may come as a bit of a bummer for fans, there will be no episode of 'Bull' on Monday, January 11. Episode 6 titled 'To Save a Life', will air on January 18, according to CBS's official TV listings. Taking the January 11, 10 pm ET, time slot is a rerun of Season 4 Episode 20: 'Wrecked'. The episode originally aired on May 4, 2020, and those who missed the finale will be able to catch the episode again.

The official synopsis reads: "Bull and the team help Taylor bring a civil suit against the woman who killed Taylor's friend in a hit-and-run when the driver evades criminal charges by claiming diplomatic immunity."

Although an official statement isn't issued by the network for not airing the episode, we reckon this would have to do with the production. With the show on Christmas break, production for the upcoming set of episodes might be in the works and this would mean CBS would have to space the episodes accordingly.

Episode 5 saw a damning secret about a case that made Bull (Michael Weatherly) and Benny's lives a lot harder as they were trying to convince the jury about the case of a pastor they were handling. For many who caught the episode, it was a convoluted and perplexing case and they took to Twitter to express their disappointment. Some felt it was outdated while others felt it was a classic case of privacy violation.

Hopefully, 'To Save a Life' will shed some light on that Izzy-Bull proposal storyline. The aww-inducing episode just before the Christmas break is yet to be explored in-depth and while at it, we also hope 'Bull' would pay some attention to developing the characters of Taylor and Danny (Jaime Lee Kirchner) further. There aren't many details available for Episode 6 at the moment, but do watch this space as we bring you the latest updates about the show.

'Bull' Season 5 airs on Mondays at 10 pm ET on CBS.
