BTS’ ‘Butter’ on 'James Corden Crosswalk': Airdate, where to watch street performance
BTS may be on a break but we continue to get new content from them almost daily. The latest is a street performance of ‘Butter’ and ‘Dynamite’ as the global K-pop group was on the ‘James Corden Show’ and joined the talk show’s crosswalk segment. After a busy year of singles, collabs, sold-out concerts, attending UN General Assembly and making history at international award shows, BTS decided to go on vacation for the next couple of months.
We are set to get a new album, a Seoul concert and possibly an OT7 world tour after BTS come back in March 2022. But that doesn’t mean the boys aren’t active. We had V teasing an unreleased song and dropping his second solo OST while Suga is featured on Juice WRLD’s posthumous album. They are also sweeping award shows like MAMA 2021 and getting nominated at the likes of South Korea’s GDA, SMA and even the Grammys. And now we are getting a street performance of their English singles on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’.

Airdate and time
BTS’ street performance on James Corden’s crosswalk segment will air on December 16 at 12:37 am PST (2:37 pm KST).
Where to watch
The performance will be broadcast on the CBS channel. For international fans, it will also later be uploaded on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ YouTube channel.
Performance
BTS, James Corden and the late-night show’s crew put up a street performance in LA as they danced to the K-pop group’s latest record-breaking English single ‘Butter’ and the 2020 single ‘Dynamite’. And while the general public usually gets annoyed at Corden’s ‘Crosswalk’ series since it stops traffic, a lot of ARMY were on the streets that day and sat back to enjoy the live performance in their cars.
The UNGA joke
And while we are getting several adorable moments and performances from BTS on the late-night show, fans still are not sure whether to forgive James Corden. The talk show host had called ARMY “15-year-old girls” and BTS’ appearance at the United Nations General Assembly as “unusual.” This did not go over well with fans with RM bringing it up during BTS' latest interview with Corden.
The talk show host tried to brush it off with the boys saying that it was all in the past and everything was good. And while he didn’t apologize, RM said that he appreciated Corden’s apology which impressed everyone at how deftly the BTS leader handled the situation. But fans still don’t know how to feel about it. However, they are happy to see BTS perform on the ‘Crosswalk’ segment.
