BTS’ V surprises ARMY with new song while on vacation, fans say ‘can’t do this anymore’
BTS might be on vacation but it doesn’t look like it. Last week after their 4-day LA concert, BigHit announced that after a busy year full of record-breaking hits and iconic performances, the global K-pop group would be taking a break for the next couple of months. They are set to meet their families and take a much-deserved vacation. Following that fans are in for a treat, as we are supposed to get a new album, a Seoul concert in March 2022 and possibly a world tour. But V aka Kim Taehyung has other plans.
We first had all seven members of BTS opening their personal Instagram accounts to stay up to date and communicate with fans while they were on a break. Well, they have been true to their word as they have been showering us with tons of photos and videos as some are enjoying time in USA while some members are relaxing back in South Korea. But it looks like BTS is not really interested in just enjoying their vacation. We first got producer Suga as he is featured in Juice WRLD’s posthumous album. And now, V has teased a new song while he was on vacation in Hawaii.

BTS' V teases an unreleased song
On December 10, V teased an unreleased song on Instagram. The same K-pop idol who was struggling with Instagram seems to have become a pro at the social media app. Along with aesthetically pleasing photos, a black and white theme and minimalistic captions, it looks like V might have been using the app for years. Well, while the BTS star was vacationing in Hawaii, he posted a series of videos of him driving on his Instagram stories. Wearing a blue floral shirt, he is seen driving a convertible Mustang while singing to a song with the caption ‘i love you’.
V then got on the Korean social media platform Weverse and explained his Stories. He commented, “Writing here [instead of Instagram], it is just a song I made long ago. But since the mood was good [I shared it].” ARMY think that he might be referring to the ‘purple song’ that he had hinted at long ago. Some translated the lyrics they could hear and found it quite romantic, “Travel with me, don’t you wanna get away.”
