Los Angeles-based TV series 'Selling Sunset' is coming back with a new season, and we are thrilled. From the A-list star cast to the entertaining drama-filled episodes, there’s no doubt why 'Selling Sunset' has become one of the most-loved reality series online.

Netflix’s hit series 'Selling Sunset' gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the competitive real estate market in Los Angeles, California, led by real estate firm The Oppenheim Group. Brett and Jason Oppenheim have carried on their family business with their work, but Brett opted out of the group in 2020 to open a new personal chapter. 'Selling Sunset' star Maya Vander shuts down rumor she’s leaving Oppenheim Group: 'I'm staying with Jason'

Who is Brett Oppenheim?

Real estate is quite literally in the Oppenheims’ blood. Their great-great-grandfather Jacob Stern moved to Hollywood in 1889 and became one of the most prominent real estate entrepreneurs of early Los Angeles with his company The Stern Realty Co. Brett made his career change from law to real estate first. It appears to have been a natural choice, as he states, "real estate was always in my blood, five generations of my family have practiced some form of real estate.” Brother Jason joined him in the switch a little over a year later. The twins' rebranded the company and named it The Oppenheim Group. Today, The Oppenheim Group represents five generations of real estate development, management, and brokerage services in LA.

In 2020, Brett left the company and started his own firm. However, Brett never technically left. He still works alongside his brother at The Oppenheim Group and holds the title of Broker Associate and Senior Vice President, as made clear from their website. Jason and Brett have merely chosen to do things a little differently for the sake of their relationship.

Brett has always kept mum about his dating life, although in Season 3, we were quickly introduced to his newest girlfriend when he shows her off to the other agents and says, "Sweetheart, I want to introduce you real quick, this is Katya". However, the two broke up and Brett started dating Tina Loise which also ended in a split.

What is Brett Opphenheim’s Net Worth?

The twin brothers have built a real estate empire in Southern California over the years, and their net worth is reflective of their hard work. Thanks to the firm's immeasurable success, both Jason and Brett are believed to be worth $50million each, according to Celebrity Net Worth. It isn't known exactly how much The Oppenheim Group is worth, but the business reportedly sells over 100 properties each year and is responsible for over $1billion worth of sales. The firm has around $300million currently in active listings.

'Selling Sunset' Season 5 premieres on Friday, April 22, 2022, on Netflix.
