It looks like this comeback has kickstarted Tsuki’s era. The rookie girl group Billlie turned heads when they debuted for a lot of reasons. From having member Sua, who is Astro Moonbin’s sister to survival show favorites, Suhyeon from ‘MIXNINE’ and Sheon of ‘Girls Planet 999’, the K-pop group has diverse charms. However, it is former J-pop idol Tsuki who has caught everyone’s attention currently with the release of the title track ‘GingaMingaYo (the strange world)’.

Tsuki is a Japanese idol from the J-pop group Magicour who auditioned for SM and JYPE and was rumored to join the latter's J-pop survival show, 'Nizi Project'. She even trained with Aespa’s Ningning before moving to SM’s subsidiary label, Mystic, home to Billlie. Considered to be the main dancer of Billlie, she is finally getting the recognition she deserves by going viral for her expressive performance of ‘GingaMingaYo’.

Billlie’s Tsuki goes viral

While there are many great dancers in K-pop as dancing is one of the most important prerequisites for being an idol, some stand out with their facial expressions like Ateez’s San, Dreamcatcher’s SuA, SHINee’s Taemin and ONEUS’ Hwanwoong, to name a few. Well, it looks like Tsuki will be joining them. While promoting ‘GingaMingaYo’, Billlie appeared on Simply K-pop’s ‘CON-TOUR’ segment, which is like a virtual KCon, on February 25. After the individual fancams of the members were uploaded on their YouTube channel, Tsuki’s fancam received 57k views.

Once international K-pop fans found the fancam, it went viral on K-pop Twitter as well and racked up 809k views in just a couple of hours. What’s so exciting is the way Tsuki changes her expressions on every beat as she ranges from a cheeky look to an innocent charming smile, winks, and more. Her fans pointed out that her cartoon, anime-like expressions were one of the techniques J-pop idols used frequently and K-pop Twitter is loving it.
