K-pop singer Bibi previously went viral for kissing a female fan

Korean rapper and R&B artist Bibi is slowly gaining traction even among K-pop fans as she is collaborating with the likes of GOT7’s Mark Tuan, Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Ateez, (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon and Yena of IZ*ONE fame. Bibi has also been roped in for some iconic OSTs (original soundtracks) for the likes of Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi’, ‘Our Beloved Summer’ and ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ and even performed at Coachella. Despite becoming mainstream, Bibi still sticks to her no-nonsense attitude and persona and continues to do her own thing. 

Many were pleasantly surprised as Bibi previously went viral for kissing a female fan during a performance and now once again she is the talk of the town for bringing a male fan on stage during a university festival. Fans joked that they wished they were the male fan to whom Bibi gave a mini-lap dance and kissed his head while he blushed during the whole performance.

Bibi gives a lap dance at a university festival

It is university festival season in South Korea and popular artists and idols have been invited to perform like PSY, Hyuna, (G)I-DLE, Winner and more. Bibi attended the Korea University festival on May 24. While performing her hit single ‘Best Lover’, she invited the male fan to the stage. However, a lot of Knetizens were uncomfortable and called the performance inappropriate since it was a university festival with students. They made posts like, “Does she want to act like that on an university campus? Seriously,” “What's up with the peck?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ it became cheap in one instant,” and “ Ugh... what is she doing at an university festival?; can't she think of any other fan service to do?”

‘It's not the Joseon era’

One fan slammed back to the comments reasoning that she shouldn’t have done it at a university, “Why is it bad to do at a university festival full of adults? It's not like she was at an elementary or middle school.” Another fan tweeted, “That was hardly a lap dance. It was classy all things considered and the male fan was EXTREMELY respectful. Kudos to him. This is why I love Bibi. If any of y’all make her feel like she needs to apologize, I am going on a mfking SPREE.” Others made jokes like, “Bibi giving a lap dance and a kiss.. that should be ME,” and “I would sell my house to go to a bibi concert.”

Another added, “BIBI went from kissing a girl in the lips to giving a guy a lap dance....When is it my turn??” One fan asked, “If doing something sexy is "inappropriate" at a university then Korean universities must be VERY different from the ones in my country. Do they wait until they're 30 to have sexual desires? That guy was clearly loving it and no one forced Bibi to do it so what the hell is the problem?” Even a Korean fan had pointed out, “It's not the Joseon era right now, she can do whatever, and even the fan was fine with it.”

Bibi is next invited to the HITC concert and Waterbomb Seoul Festival along with EXO’s Kai, Jessi and Mamamoo’s Hwasa and more, the ensemble concert known for making Hyuna and Sunmi’s backup dancer Cha Hyunseung go viral.
