Jesse Palmer alarmed fans when he revealed that he almost missed 'The Golden Wedding' since his wife Emely Fardo is expecting their first child any day now

PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA: Jesse Palmer, the host of 'The Golden Wedding,' is about to add another item to his already long to-do list: a proud dad bear. Jesse, the 45-year-old TV personality, and his wife, 38-year-old model Emely Fardo Palmer, are expecting a baby girl in early January, which has fans worried because the former NFL player is currently hosting the ABC show Live while his wife is due anytime soon!

When Jesse acted as host of 'The Golden Wedding,' the stakes were higher than ever.

Jesse, the show's host, confessed that he wasn't sure he'd be able to attend the December 4 wedding because his wife, Emely, is due to give birth at any time. He stated that he was aware that Emely was watching from home and instructed her to call him if she required his assistance.

"Please call me if you need anything!" Jesse told Emely.

Fans on X couldn't help but share their concerns as they write, "Let Kris Jenner host and let Jesse Palmer go be with his impending baby!!!"  While another user chimed in, "Jesse is NOTTTT potentially missing the birth of his child for this wedding." 

One user wrote, "Jesse, please go back to your wife. You are going to be father for the first time… it’s more important than this." A fourth person asked, "Jesse why are you here your about to have a baby."

One user also tweeted, "Jesse go be with your girl." While another person added, "Now Jesse… go home to your wife."

He currently hosts all four of the show's seasons: 'The Bachelor', 'The Bachelorette', 'Bachelor in Paradise', and 'The Golden Bachelor'. The 6-foot-2 Canadian may be recognizable to others from ESPN, 'Good Morning America', or the Food Network's 'Holiday Baking Championship' contests.

Residents of Florida might recall Jesse from his time playing football at the University of Florida under head coach Steve Spurrier in the late 1990s and early 2000s. During his time as a Gator, he was one of the team's quarterbacks and completed 31 touchdown passes.

Jesse was drafted in the fourth round (125th overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He played with the Giants from 2001 until he was released before the start of the 2005 season.

When did Jesse Palmer get married?

Jesse is married to Emely, a Brazilian photographer and model. In 2017, they met in a boxing lesson and plan to marry in Connecticut in 2020.
