LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Golden Bachelor' star Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are all set to exchange vows in California. Theresa has teased that her nuptials would be a "traditional, not religious" affair.
Theresa's son Tommy would walk her down the aisle in the ABC show spin-off 'The Golden Wedding'. According to the reports by Reality Steve, Gerry and Theresa's wedding is expected to take place at La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California on January 4.
The couple's photo at the location had been leaked online. In the photo, Gerry and Theresa appeared to touring the facility, which is 25 miles from Palm Springs.
Gerry and Theresa connected over their personal loss and felt an instant spark on their very first one-on-one date in the show. The ABC show couple had both lost their spouses after long and happy marriages.
Gerry had been with his wife Toni Turner for 43 years before she died of a bacterial infection. Meanwhile, Theresa was married for 42 years to Billy, who passed away from kidney failure.
During the ABC show finale, Gerry went to one knee and popped the question to the woman "he couldn’t live without." Considering their age, Gerry, 72, and Theresa, 70, don't want to waste their "precious moments."

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist have invited the whole world to witness their 'Golden Wedding' live on ABC. However, the couple wanted just a few guests at their wedding venue.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gerry and Theresa revealed that somewhere between 100 to 150 guests would be present in-person at their wedding.
Theresa told the outlet, "We want all of the women from 'The Golden Bachelor' to be there. We don’t know who’s going to be able to make it." She added, "And there will be people there from Bachelor Nation and then our close family and friends."
Besides Gerry and Theresa's family members, Edith Aguirre, Pamela Burns, Peggy Dercole, Ellen Goltzer, Renee Halverson-Wright, Sandra Mason, and Sylvia Robledo are expected to attend the couple's big day guest list.
Susan Noles, who has been a wedding officiant for over a decade and appeared on the ABC dating series debut season, will officiate Gerry and Theresa's wedding.

After the "golden wedding" in California, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist would jet off to Italy for their romantic honeymoon. During the finale of 'The Golden Bachelor', ABC show host Jesse Palmer surprised the couple with this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Jesse asked the couple, "Do you remember on your first date you both discovered that you both wanted to learn how to speak Italian?" Jesse continued, "And you were hoping to go and visit Italy? Well, bon voyage!"
The ABC host announced, "We’re sending you on a romantic vacation to Italy!" Gerry reflected on the romantic vacation and said, "That [trip] really is very convenient. We can use that as our honeymoon trip because we are going to get married as quickly as we can."
'The Golden Wedding' will air on Thursday, January 4 at 8 pm ET on ABC. The two-hour special will be available to stream the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
