Their romance first began around 2011, however, as reported by People magazine, their relationship was "often long distance".
This distance and their work eventually became a more significant issue than one would have imagined and the couple called it quits in 2020, breaking several hearts across the globe.

While the relationship between Austin Butler and his 'Elvis' co-star Olivia DeJonge was never confirmed by either of the two, they did spark several rumors.
This happened while fans were still healing from his split from Vanessa Hudgens.
Nevertheless, co-stars involved in romantic scenes on-screen and continuing that romance off-screen would not come as a shock. (Hint: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher)

The rumors between Austin Butler and Lily-Rose Depp were likely more short-lived than the rumors between the 'Masters of the Air' star and Olivia DeJonge.
According to People magazine, Deep and Butler were spotted kissing sometime in August 2021, following a dinner date in London.
However, neither of the stars ever confirmed this relationship.

In December 2021, rumors about a relationship between model Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler first began, and as of now, the couple has been together.
They even spent Valentine's Day together in 2022, and just over a month later, they made their debut as a couple in public.
In 2023, the pair visited the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and have reportedly been going strong since.
