Vanessa Hudgens gets candid on ‘Today’ about taking fiance Cole Tucker’s last name once they tie the knot
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The ‘High School Musical’ alum Vanessa Hudgens recently appeared on NBC's ‘Today’ show and shared that she will be taking fiance Cole Tucker’s last name.
During a recent ‘Today with Hoda and Jenna’ segment hosted by Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, Hudgens shared her journey to the aisle since she and baseball player Tucker got engaged in February 2023.
Hudgens also talked about her love for all things horror as she recently celebrated her spooky-themed Bachelorette at Aspen.
She also talked about branching into entrepreneurship saying, “It helped me grow a lot as a woman and as an individual.”

Vanessa Hudgens talks about fiance Cole Tucker on ‘Today’
'Today' host Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager welcomed Vanessa Hudgens who recently got engaged with baseball player Cole Tucker.
When Kotb asked the actress, “Are you going to keep your name or take his name or have you decided?”
She said, “Yeah, I’m probably going to take it. Like, professionally, it’s obviously going to stay the same. But yeah.”
Kotb said, “Was that a big decision?” She started screaming while showing off her nail art, “Mrs. T, Mrs. T!”

During the conversation, Vanessa Hudgens also talked about her bachelorette party.
Kotb pointed, “Oh my god, you have a beautiful manicure we can’t take our eyes off of. This is Bachelorette party inspired? How was it, by the way?”
She explained, “It was magical. It was very grown, I’m realizing.”
Kotb asked, “What do you mean? You went to bed early?” teasing Hudgens.

She said, “We went hiking, Zen Hen. We did yoga, we did sound baths.” Hager added, “That sounds like an ideal weekend.”
Hudgens gushed again, “Like a health retreat.” And also revealed, “I am very much in the Zen Lane.”
She continued, “Life is very hectic and I feel like it’s so important to take time out of your day to love on yourself, whether that’s meditation, doing skin care mask, like taking a bath and pouring yourself a glass of wine.”
“I think it’s so important to detach from the chaos of the day and get in touch,” she concluded.
Hudgens also spoke about her bachelorette party exclaiming, “So, I told my girlfriends to dress for my funeral. You know, death to my single self, death to Hudgens.”
“So, I sent them photos of chic funeral wear.”
