When Season 5 of ‘Animal Kingdom’ ended, we knew that the final edition of the TNT series will be all about whether Pope will be arrested for what he did to Catherine. In the first seven episodes of the final edition, we got to know that a detective named Louise Thompson (Moran Atias) is trying to gather evidence on the aforementioned murder case and even uses a young boy as an informer.

However, the last week’s episode finally saw Pope getting to know that the young man named Taylor is playing with is actually an informer. Pope punches him and asks him about the cop’s identity. Once he gets to know who she is, Pope breaks into her hotel room and indulges in an intense conversation. At first, we believe that Pope has everything in control but as soon as she mentions Catherine, the game changes and we realize that it is Louise who’s in control.

In a promo released by TNT, the upcoming episode will play a crucial role in telling the viewers what lies ahead for Pope and the entire Cody family. The clip sees Josh getting a bit worried about the situation and tells Deran that police can arrive at any point in time. But it seems no one knows what’s happening because Josh is still clueless about what the matter is. Later in the video, J tells Deran that a cop is looking out for Pope and things might be getting intense for him.

But it’s the concluding part of the clip that makes us anxious because it shows Pope getting interrogated by Louise. Yes, you heard it right. Pope getting interrogated by police and seems to be in their custody. During the conversation, Pope can be seen sitting anxiously on a chair and listening to Louise saying, “There’s only one path to redemption: confess”. The footage ends with Pope looking really fatigued and scrambling.

Things are not looking good for him because Pope might have to face the consequences of his brutal crime. With the word “redemption” being thrown out during the interrogation, it might trigger him to confess his crime. It’s yet to be seen if he indeed confesses to his crimes, but having Pope inside the interrogation room is also a win for the police. They just need to have the confession and that would be the final nail in the coffin.

It’s the beginning of the end.
