'Animal Kingdom' Season 6 on TNT: Date, plot, cast, trailer and latest buzz around crime drama
If there’s a list of the shows that have managed to capture the imagination of viewers over the years, then TNT’s ‘Animal Kingdom’ is surely going to be in the top five. Starting in 2016, the show quickly became one of the most-watched series on the network and garnered positive reviews from the critics as well as the audiences.
So, it doesn’t come as a shock that the show continues to enjoy a successful run on the network and ended its Season 5 with a bang last year. However, every good thing must come to an end and it’s time for the Cody Boys to take their final journey in the world of crime. TNT is set to come out with the sixth and final season of the show in June 2022 and gives fans an opportunity to have one last thrilling ride with the Codys.
The ending of Season 5 turned out to be a bittersweet one. Every member of the Cody Family survived and sat together at the dinner table. They agreed on a new plan for how they will be laundering all the cash. They raised their drinks and repeat Smurf’s toast “May we get what we want, and never what we deserve”. However, the discovery of Catherine Blackwell’s body in the ending moment of the Season 5 finale means things are going to get really dangerous for the Cody Family, especially Pope (Shawn Hatosy).
Will the Cody Boys be able to come out alive from the upcoming blizzard? Or they’ll end up being the victims. Here’s everything you need to know about the final season of ‘Animal Kingdom’.

What is ‘Animal Kingdom’ Season 6 all about?

Thankfully, in the final episode of Season 5, every member of the Cody Family - Pope, Craig (Ben Robson), Deran (Jake Weary), and Joshua (Finn Cole) – survived after the heist. They managed to get the money and got it stacked in the storage unit. It was Pope who killed Catherine after she failed to convince him that she never planned to turn him and his family to the cops.
But the discovery of her body makes everything problematic for the Cody Family, especially Pope.
