‘American Idol’ season 20 has so far treated the fans with as much drama possible and the audience is loving it. With three episodes down, the singing reality show in the latest season has seen singers namely HunterGirl and Kenedi Anderson bagging the rare platinum ticket. Despite making the right choices, judges namely Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie have been trolled quite a few times over their decision-making skills.

If we shed light on the fourth episode, music lovers will get to see aspiring singer-songwriters like Jacob Moran, Douglas Mills Jr., Zareh, Charvonay, and others trying their luck to grab the golden ticket to Hollywood. ‘American Idol’ season 20 airs on ABC and this is the fifth time when the popular show has returned to the network.

Who is Sam Moss?

Sam Moss, who enjoys close to 2K followers on Instagram identifies herself as a “soul-expanding songwriter” as revealed by her social media bio. The official site of the singer tells that she is, “A soulful singer-songwriter and mentor, on a mission to awaken a mindful, empowered, and heart-centered audience.” Sam Moss is currently based in Chicago but she was born and raised in Winterset, Iowa. She believes in sharing stories that elevates life’s most sentimental moments, and uplifting strangers through the divine power of song.
 
Sam Moss graduated from Central College in Pella. The stunning crooner had also auditioned for the show when she was in Freshman year of high school but unfortunately, she could not crack it then. Shedding light on the same, she told DesMoines Register, “Freshman year of high school, my mom drove me to Springfield, Missouri, to an open audition in a park. I didn’t get in, but I wouldn’t have been ready for any success that would have come with it.” Sam is heavily inclined towards pop and soul music. Maddie Poppe was the first Iowan to win "American Idol" in 2018. Sam, who is looking forward to becoming another Iowan to win the show, said, “I hope that I make Iowa proud, and I hope I make my family and my students proud”, adding, “It’s important that I make people who are watching know that they should all feel safe to follow things that light us up and make us feel alive.”
 



 

'American Idol' Season 20 airs every Sunday at 8/7c on ABC.
