While Lionel and Katy were busy performing at King Charles' coronation concert, Ed Sheeran and Alanis Morrisette stepped in as guest judges to fill the chairs for Lionel and Katy. Luke Bryan was there with Sheeran and Alanis. However, 'American Idol' 2023 fans demand Alanis to replace Katy amid a series of controversies.

Alanis Morissette appears as guest judge on 'American Idol'
While Katy was in London, 'American Idol' viewers saw Alanis Morissette as a replacement judge. Alanis also mentored the aspiring singers as the contestants sang the artist's songs. Alanis' singing and judging skills delighted the contestants as well as the viewers with several social media users demanding to replace Katy. The pop sensation has been the target of 'American Idol' viewers for the past few weeks over her rude comments and controversial decision. Katy has also been accused of 'mom-shaming' a contestant. Meanwhile, Alanis didn't make even a single comment that received any backlash. She calmly praise the contestants and gave critical advice in a better way.
'Replace Katy with Alanis'
'American Idol' 2023 viewers took to Twitter to praise Alanis over her judging skills. However, they also demanded to replace Katy.
